This is a well managed family owned hotel

The room was great and the food was also excellent - the portions were huge.

The service from all the staff was wonderful, friendly and gracious.

The locals are not afraid to chat strangers.

There are at least 5 other pubs in this small town to try. The Central in the Main Street being the best of them. It is a beautiful old pub with lots of original features (old casks behind the bar and beautiful wood panels) with lots of friendly locals - well worth a visit.

For younger people Floyds looks worth a visit.

I would definitely stay in Mahons again and go to The Central for a pint.

Don't expect to go to bed at 11pm!

Work in ireland 6 months a year north and south, and this is the best hotel i've stayed at. Rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard, but downstair retains it's irish charm. The bar is excellent and great bar food, there is also a restaraunt (not used).
Traditional irish Hotel Excellent!

Noisy. Adjacent rooms' bathroom fans will wake you.
On Friday nights the local youths rev their cars and race up and down the streets, lots of drunken shouting too. Exhausted. Went down for breakfast (poor) to find them clearing up the "buffet" before time! Mentioned noise to staff on check out. Completely disinterested. "isn't it the same problem everywhere". I think not!
Stay rather in a hotel in Omagh or upgrade to **** in the Enniskillen area.

We had a great time here and would love to be able to pre book on line or by phone details,
silly me through the receipt away, a little more info would be appreciated.

The staff were very frendly and helpfull, food was great and good value. There was plenty of seating all around the hotel and the rooms were very speacious.

Also there was a good night club not to far and I must say the area was nice and quiet even though there were lots of people around.

All in all a great place to stay.
