I spent one night in this Hotel on 24th January with family, who had a two- night booking. The room was clean and spacious; the bar lunch very good, the evening meal exceptional,as was the breakfast the following morning.Prices for food and a bottle of wine were very good value for a hotel and the Management should be commended for this. The weather was poor, although we did venture out in the afternoon. The staff were ALL very helpful and welcoming and I look forward to another visit.

We stayed in Mahons on a miserable wet weekend. This is our second visit - there were 10 of us in our group. We had our meal on the first night and you couldn't fault it - everything was exceptional.

The staff are what makes this hotel excellent - nothing is a bother and everything is done with a smile.

Hopefully will be back soon.

Room Tip: All rooms good.

My partner and I booked an overnight stay in this hotel last August staying one night in January 2013. Imagine my surprise on arrival at reception when I was asked if I had been told our room was above the bar. I hadn't and as it was Saturday live music was advertised. We where then told if we didn't like the room we would have to relocate to a guest house. As we where attending a party across the street this was not what we wanted. The key to our room was on a bit of plastic so big you could have used it as a weapon. The room had clean sheets that's as good as it got. It looked nothing like those on the web site, The furniture did not match the bed covers where as old as the stain on the carpet and the climate controlled heating was in fact a portable radiator which used one of the two sockets. The bathroom had a chair that was used instead of the broken towel holder which had been left in the bathroom as if to prove it had existed. I have no idea where the advertised wi-Fi is. After deciding it was only one night and not having the option to leave we went to the bar. Thank god for alcohol as the food was very average to put it politely. The only good thing about our stay was the staff who where very polite and friendly. On leaving to add insult to injury the bill described our room as a deluxe double and whilst we handed over the key other guests where passing over key cards that obviously opened doors to the rooms advertised that we had booked. We did email the hotel who state they would respond in 24 hours but they didn't.

We booked an overnight stay with a group friends for a pre Christmas get together! This was the perfect choice. Our room was lovely, the bed is huge and very comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent, the mixed grill was just great, if I had one complaint it is that there was possibly to much food. There were side dishes go veg which possibly weren't touched but everyone enjoyed the food immensely. The entertainment was great, especially Joe and Shep! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. This was a fantastic start to the Christmas season.

Just arrived home after enjoying a long weekend break at Mahon's. There were six of us (three couples)( family) and we would normally have a break at this time of year as we have been doing this for the past 30 years This year it was Mahon's we arrived around 4pm on a wet miserable rainy autumnal day to be greeted by a great hello and welcome from the receptionist, the hotel was snug and cosy and after checking in we went to our rooms which were on the first floor. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with king sized bed, ensuite, tea & coffee iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and the latest digital tv/dvd multichannel viewing for free,WIFI and internet also free. We had booked 3nights B&B & 2 evening meals so we decided to have the bar food for Friday night, the food presentation was first class and tasted just as good, the prices were good as were the portions and extra helpings were brought. We all had a great time then settled back to a lively nights entertainment, the bar staff were very courtious and friendly. The food in the restaurant was plentiful very wholesome, we found that the staff overall were very helpful and pleasant. The entertainment in the bar over the weekend was live music was very good and the most enjoyable bit was when Joe had us in fits of laughter when he sang some of his Hit records ..... The Rooster, The Doggy in the Window. We have stayed here before as we found it was fairly central for us to travel to, and only a few miles from Enniskillen and the lakes and shopping centres. There are lots of places to see and explore in the Fermanagh area and if anyone is in the Fermanagh area and looking for good food and accommodation and entertainment very reasonably priced then Mahon’s is the place to stay, I say to Joe and his staff take a pat on the back and thanks for wonderful weekend.
