We needed a resaurant close to the marvellous Pech Merle caves and found La Roue on Trip Advisor. Christelle was unfazed when we told her that we didn't eat meat, had a chat with the chef about le menu and offered us a meat free salad as entree followed by fish as a main course instead. Everything was delicious, freshly prepared and well presented. The meal came with bread, wine and coffee and was very good value at 13 euro. The decor was simple but nicely decorated in a modern style and was full of local ouvriers - clearly a regular and well satisfied clientele. Christelle was an attentive hostess and managed everything and everybody with efficiency and charm. La Roue represents the best of country French cuisine.
