The place is perfect for families. The food is excellent. The staff could not be more attentive with you. You can squezze your oranges to drink a NATURAL ORANGE JUICE every morning. The people in the beach will provide you with umbrellas (included in your hotel fare), chairs (included in your hotel fare), water ( paid), beer (paid), food (paid) accoording your instructions. I strongly recommend to ask the people on the beach for a cooler with water, beer and arrange a Pescado Frito (try the Pargo Frito) for lunch or dinner. This is a place like no other in Latin america (I have been in Cancun, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico...the most amazing beach destinations in the Caribbean) and a call tell you will find a real beach experience (you should want to enjoy the beach differently). I went my my family (we lived in the USA) for an entire week and our experience was superb. We rented a car in the airport (we did it with Budget over the internet) to visit other places in the island (go to Manzanillo, la Virgen Del Valle, Playa El Yaque and take Windsurf lessons). If you have a friend in Venezuela ask him to exchange your US$ or Euros to get more from you money, doing that, your lunch will only cost US$5/person (you can also call the hotel in advance to know the exchange rate they offer)....if you pay with your foreign credit card, you will be paying much more. A lot people might tell you that Venezuela is a very dangerous place to visit...I will say...all countries can be dangerous if you take a walk in dark places with a Rolex in your wrist. My recommendation (we have not any inconvenient during our visit): do not wear any expensive watches, jewelry por carry an IPhone, Ipads, Ipods, Computers in the street. Leave your credit cards and foreign currency in the room safe (you have to pay an additional fee). Only carry Bolivares with you while visiting the island. We will return next year to have other espectacular family vacations at Costa Linda and Isla Margarita.

Room Tip: Book the better room you can (the price is affordable)

After reviewing dozens of hotels in Margarita, and asking for budgets, I HIGLY recommend Costa Linda. It is not only a great deal for the buck, but the people working there are extremely nice.

Basically what they offer is what you’ll get, there’s no trick and the place is even better than the pictures.

Service at the hotel is great, the staff is really there 24/7 for you and they arrange transportation services if needed. The rooms are huge, very clean, beds are comfortable, you’ll have cable TV and air conditioner and you could ask for a fridge in your room if you wanted too. The bathrooms are impeccable, with hot water and towels.

The hotel fee includes a buffet breakfast, you’ll have plenty where to choose, everything very fresh, and delicious. The restaurant, I only ate there once, because I spent the rest of the day at the beach and ate outside. I ordered the onion soup and it was fine.
The beach is literately 3 minutes by foot, just down the road and the Hotel gives you 3 coupons per day to get chairs and sunshade for free at the beach. (I personally recommend Dunas, the guy working there is extremely kind and the service and food are great.) The hotel also provides beach towels every day (All of these included in the room fee).

About the beach, Playa el Agua is very pretty, a calm beach, you won’t find it packed with surfers which can be really annoying if you want to get into the water and relax. I read a couple of reviews where people complain about Playa el Agua being far, well that’s hardly the hotel’s fault. But even so, the hotel works with several taxi lines in the island and they will arrange transportation to anywhere.

I am definitely going back.

Room Tip: I recommend to choose a room on the top floors, for a little extra money you’ll get a balcony with a...

I have been to Isla Margarita many times and love the tropical Sunshine and North part of the Island. This year I stayed with my Sister in the Costa Linda Beach Hotel in Playa El Agua.
The Hotel was perfect, close to the beach , very clean and quite with the staff polite and helpful at all times.
The Decor is very Venezuelan with the wood and colours a perfect match and plenty of room in the grounds to wander and relax..

The breakfast each morning was self service which I liked and had a wide choice of fresh food.each day,,really pleasant
As you may be aware the Caribbean can be rather dangerous and you need to keep your wits about you in particular at night and anywhere that is quite. However the security in the Hotel was good with double doors for access which were monitored at all times. we felt safe inside..

Night times are quite and relaxed with a bar and restaurant in the Hotel, we did not go out at night after the sun had set as the atmosphere changes in particular along the beach front ...

I will be coming back again and will stay in the Costa Linda .

Room Tip: Top floor which is the second floor has good views and more privacy

Stayed over spring break and found this lovely quaint property to be ideally suited to rest and relaxation. Built in a Spanish Adobe style with an open courtyard the place exudes charm.
We found it to be quite safe also. Wonderful staff who are very responsive and always have a smile.

Excellent hotel to stay, everything is well thought of. Good decoration, breakfast is really good (you are allowed to squeeze your own orange juice, so, can't be fresher than this) they have deals with the local restaurants at the beach and you get a ticket for free umbrellas and seats.

You only get to walk to reach the beach for 2 mins. Perfect location for runners, like me!. Go before 7am or the sun will melt you....when you are back, the breakfast buffet will reward you with all the lost calories.

Room Tip: upper rooms have a better view, A/C units are noisy, but the balcony can be kept open overnight for...

We stayed in this cozy hotel for 3 nights while spending xmas eve. We loved the decorations, the little bar, the service, the pool, brunch in the mornings and the common areas. We took out some points because there's no Wi-Fi in the bedrooms, only in the hammocks and dining area. Also we didn't have hot water the first day of our stay. But apart from that you can't really go wrong by choosing this hotel.
