This is opne of the best beach club / resturants I have been too. Open air setting with lots of tropical shade trees/palms. Great music/reggae. Ice cold Imperial beers were nice to have after a good surf. Best thing I eat was the"Hawaiian Poke" which was a huge lump of yellowfin tuna poke over a salad plate of field greens...........yum!

The food was great, had Hawaiian Poke (tuna) and Fish and Chips, both were delicious and fresh! Atmosphere- right on the beach, under trees. Amazing. Will go again. 20 minute walk from the Beach Club in Hacienda Pinilla. We were staying at the JW and drove to the beach club, walked from there. People say you can walk from the JW as well. Definitely a place to go for lunch!

This beach bar is hidden by palm trees on Avellanas beach. It is worth looking for it. The menu is limiterd but everything si abosolutely delicious and SUPER FRESH. The fish tastes like it was caught an hour before they opened. The don't serve beef (you won't miss it) and everything is organic and free range.Portinos are large and easily shared, the beer is ice cold and the service is prompt. They are only opened when the sun is out, you are never rushed and the staff is very friendly. Great find, and if you are staing at the JW Marriott it is an easy walk from the hotel at low tide.

Walked down twice from the nearby Marriott resort for lunch. Restaurant is right on the beach nestled in some trees for shade. Food was really good. I had salads both times which were topped with grilled chicken. Wife had fish and chips first time and pizza the second time. Both were delicious. Pizza was a thin crust with mushrooms which we both really liked.

Only possible issue was with the service. First time it was slow. Second time it was really, really slow. Didn't really bother us as we weren't on any time schedule.
