I was always eager to try scuba diving, and when I went to Crete for the first time, I came across Evelin Divers!. They made me feel very welcome and easy to get along with!!, thanks to that experience I am now in the process of finishing my Open Water Course, I will definitively be going back at some time in the near future to continue my diving experience with them. I can thoroughly recommend them to anyone interested in diving. Thanks All!!!!

Did our AOWD course with Evelin. Extremely good service, no hidden costs and completely proffessional. Only regret is that we didnt stay at the hotel to enjoy the atmosphere a little longer each day!

This was the best day of my holiday! We visited Crete in June and was tempted to dive but now regret not doing so, when we returned in September I got my feet wet and did it! Picked up at 8.15 and then taken to a complex, given a coffee and a check list saw a doctor to make sure I was fit to dive then had to try on the equipment. I was given a suit that im sure was made for a barbie as it was hard to get on with long finger nails but I managed it. The drive to the dive was great the young lady must be the best driver in Crete and the views were super. Upon arrival we were given a talk on how to use the snorkel then had to put the super tight suits back on (it would be nice for the males to be given superman pants to cover bits and bobs!!!!!). Ok into the sea we go, once you get used to breathing with your face in the water its great the water is clear, the suit keeps you warm, you get to see lots of fish but the flipper things take some getting used to, the staff keep a close eye on you one at the front of the group, one at the back and more in the middle, please dont try and laugh with your head in the water you will choke (i know!!!). After almost a hour we came back to the land for a rest and lunch. Another tutorial on how to use the tank and all the safety bits then sorry to say back on with that suit this time with a weight belt and the tank OMG how heavy!!!! be ready to put on a good few stone in seconds, once in the water you dont feel the weight, again its not easy breathing under water or doing safety checks ie removing the mouth bit and replacing it, learning how to let the water out of your mask! Away we go I love water but this was strange and I was nervous but the instructor held my hand all the time, I swan with the fishies and it was super yet hard work, under the water for a hour with two other divers and two instructors. Would I do it again hell yeah!!! Im a 40yr old female if I can do it you can! My husband did not dive but came with us to the dive site and was also made to feel welcome. When you return to the complex you are given a t-shirt divers and non divers and a cracking picture of you under the water. Thankyou for a memorable day!!!!
