We went in October last year. We arrived mid day and went in the afternoon and again in the morning. Both times managed to arrive in time for feeding. We saw the bears from afar but only a few. The Orangutans were in abundance and the high light was the nursery. Watching the antics of the young ones was delightful.

We stayed for 2 nights during our 10 night stay in Borneo. We flew over from Kota Kinabalu ( i arranged and booked flights from home in the UK before we left, very easy to do).
This place is absolutely amazing. We had chalet 20, and it was like being in paradise, especially at night when you can lie in the hammock and just chill out while listening to all the sounds around you.
Lovely restaurant for any meals throughout the day if needed.
The Orangutan centre and the Sun Bears are a 5 minute walk away.
Many thanks to Syakila at the Nature Resort for the help and advice which helped us to see so much more than we had hoped for.
Hopefully, when we return to Borneo in the near future, we will stay longer at this amazing place.

Room tip: All 23 chalets are amazing.

Only stayed for two nights - wish it had been for longer. Enjoyed everything about the hotel, spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful tropical setting and excellent food at the restaurant.

Hotel is ideally suited for visiting the Orang-utan Sanctuary - literally only a 5 minute walk away.

Peaceful and restful, wonderful setting, plenty of flora and fauna to take your interest. Intriguing jungle sounds all around.

A few minutes walk to see the orangutans and sun bears.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our chalet was immaculate, with wonderful views all round. Meals in the restaurant were delicious and good value.

Had wondered before we went about mosquitoes and other insects, but needn't have been concerned.

Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we could stay longer! The property is very beautiful and has a great relaxing ambiance! The room was quite large and had a nice patio with a hammock to enjoy! The staff was very polite and friendly. The food was yummy and presented beautifully. Upon arrival we met Sonne, a guide for the resort. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the animals. He even took time to talk to us while hanging out in the lobby and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and that we were all set up for our next tour with him. He showed us many animals on the property that wasn't part of any tour; you could feel his enthusiasm for animals and love for nature. He took us on a night trek around the property with other guests and he made sure that everyone saw the animal he was pointing out. He also took us to see the orangutan rehabilitation center both morning and afternoon (take him up on his offer to go twice...don't just do 1 visit...you'll have a chance to see more animals and different interactions!! Your ticket is good for all day!) We also visited the sun bear conservation center in between. If you come here, ask for Sonne to be your guide! All in all this part of our trip was relaxing and fun! If we come back to Borneo we will definitely stay here again!
