“Perfect place to stay”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Stayed here for 1 night whilst attending a wedding in the local area. The staff were unbelievably helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
Our room was big, bright and clean.
The breakfast was extremely tasty.
All in all it was a lovely nights stay and well worth the money.

If you visit Stonenenge, Rollestone Manor is the ideal place to spend the night. A beautiful country house, surrounded by a large garden with beautifully decorated large rooms. The rooms are actually more modern than they look on the pictures. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant serves great food. Try the oak smoked salmon, it's one of the best I ever had. I didn't expect very much of the place beforehand but was totally charmed by it and can highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing away from the street, e.g. Sir Nathaniel's room.

If you are looking to visit Stonehenge, stay here the night before and head out their early, it's 5 minutes away on the same road.

Just back from a fabulous break staying at Rollestone Manor. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend break in a fabulous setting with top grade service and accommodation then I would highly recommend Rollestone. Cyrille, Paula and the staff were absolutely perfect hosts. They have thought of everything, including the little touches that will make your stay complete. We met up with friends there and I had rung a few days before to book a meal (which was delicious) for the four of us. We had booked separately however I gave our surnames. When we all eventually arrived, Cyrille had made sure we had rooms next to each! As I said little touches. All of us have already agreed to meet up there for our reunion next year. Rollestone Manor delivered a brilliant memorable weekend.

Room Tip: Nathaniel room is light bright with wonderful views of the Shrewton countryside. It also has an amaz...

My husband and i stayed at Rollestone Manor on Saturday 22nd June 13.
As soon as we arrived we were delighted by the splendid building and pleasant setting, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room, we booked the Cardigan suit- was wonderful, very romantic, clean with all modern amenities, the only slight complaint was there wasn't a shower, but i suppose the free standing bath placed in the bedroom was very special and made up for it.
Breakfast was great and again the staff were helpful and very friendly.
Would i recommend to friends and go back again ? most definitely !

I am not really a B&B person...or at least I wasn't until this weekend. I have stayed in some before and the experience was grim and have stuck to four and five star hotels. That is until now,the write up and previous reviews were all good and as it was in such an ideal spot and fitted in with my plans I decided to try it.
Rollestone Manor is in a good location to Stonehenge and Salisbury , characterful and cosy house, rooms individual and comfy. House and grounds itself just gorgeous and quite a surprise as close to a road (but you don't notice it.) Stayed in Sir Nathaniel's room, great shower (no bath).
The room was light, very spacious and the bed was sooo comfy we didn't even want to get up for breakfast (we did however ) though not really a breakfast person I went for the scrambled egg and salmon...should have been called 'salmon with scrambled egg'...absolutely delicious and far too generous.
The host Cyrille, wife Paula and daughter Sacha were all very charming, friendly and helpful, couldn't fault them.
We ate dinner in the evening at the Manor and it was lovely, the service was good and the food and presentation excellent, suited us perfectly as we had been out the previous two days and wanted to just 'stop' and relax .
Well done to the hosts....."you are doing a great job!"

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, the room (Sir Nathaniel) and its comfy bed.

W didn´t exactly know what to expect when we travelled on the dwindling (and narrow) road from Salisbury to Shrewton. But what a surprise. This manor is what you dream of when planning a trip and you want to get away from the city.
This hotel (or B&B) has only seven, but spacious, rooms. Each of them has a name and they are all different. A large and very comfortable bed and a modern designed bath.
As Shrewton isn´t the metropolis we vere a bit concerned over dinner plans, but not to worry. Rollstone Manor has a very good restaurant where we enjoyed a fine dinner to a very reasonable price. As for the breakfast you order that in the evening and it´s served hot (and not luke warm as in most larger hotels with breakfast buffets) on the dot.
A drink before/after dinner or at anytime else is served in very pleasant bar on the groundfloor.
The surroundings are calm and quiet and this is a place where you really relax.
(The stairs to the second floor is very steep but the staff will help you with the luggage.)
Finally: if you´re going to visit Stonehenge (some 3 miles away) this is the place to set up base
