Recently visited here with family and all thoroughly enjoyed the carvery. The new owners and their team were friendly and nothing was too much trouble . The service was excellent and food great. No complaints here and would highly recommend. Will be sure to go again.

Had the Sunday roast carvery, great portions, VERY well cooked. Had to wait for half an hourto have space enough for desert. Go for the crumble or the cheese cake! ! Work The wait. Will be back again soon.

We have been luck to visit several times over the last few weeks & the food is 1st class. Highly recommendable to come & eat here. I understand its early days for the new Management but they have made a really good start.

A pub really with accomodation. My local and on the whole I quite like the place. This pub has struggled to keep going over the last year or so. Used to do an excellent value carvery. Then the landlord left and has been run by temporary brewery managers for the last year and has gone steadily down hill. A new landlord just in and tried it out recently. We had ribeye steaks which were actually excellent and lamb loin chops which were also great. However, only a choice of 5 main meals and all over £11. They need a wider choice of lower value food = pie and chips, gammopn and egg, fish and chips, and, maybe, a "house" burger. So I recommend it for the higher end food and encourage people to try it out but do tell the guy to add lower value options if you visit. They need all the help they can get in this climate and I wish them luck. Incidentally they have restarted the carvery but have yet to try it.

Room Tip: Rooms not tried but my parents have. They said they were really nice and recommend it - all ensuite...

£20 for 2 persons including a bottle of reasonable wine. 4 of us ate and the meal was faultless and plentiful . At 8 o'clock the place was deserted though. Please patronise the pub else the village will loose another hostelry .

We had an excellent carvery at The Bull. For £5.95 we had a carvery and ice cream sundae. There was plenty of meat , beef and gammon, and there was a good choice of vegetables which were all well cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was obvious that they had regulars dining there. A very enjoyable meal. I noted that all the adverse reviews were over a year old.
