Staying at Bongjeongsagil 200 was more like being with family than just a guesthouse. The owners welcomed us into their home, fed us interesting foods and even more interesting teas. The owners speak no English, so you really need a grasp of Korean to stay here comfortably.
The lady owner is a tea master, with all manner of different teas from Korea, China and elsewhere. We spent our evenings in Andong being like this, it was a really relaxing way to be.
Our room itself was a separate building to the main house, and was in the traditional Korean style (no bed!). Even though it was many degrees below freezing we were really cozy in the room, and the shower was powerful and very warm.
Andong downtown is about a 30 minute (if I remember correctly) bus ride away, so it's not ideally situated for that. However, Bongjung Temple is just a short walk uphill, and is worth a visit.
Overally, staying here was a really special experience!
