Description: Established eatery since 1927. The pub prides itself on home-cooked meals. Everything from the burgers to the beef brisket deli sandwich is made from scratch daily the old fashioned way. The laid back atmosphere and the home cooked meals have made this eating establishment the main choice when in Creemore, Ontario. "Our philosophy is very simple, we want to make sure everyone is having a wonderful time when they visit the pub....great food awesome service and cold beer"

This place is the best Restaruant in Creemore Ontario. I have tried them all, and there are a few decent restaurants, but NOTHING comes close to the pub.

“Yummy!”
Reviewed June 26, 2013 via mobile

Just got back from an afternoon in creemore. Ample street parking on the main and sides. Went to this pub for an early dinner before heading back home. Fish and chips were delicious! 2 pieces of creemore springs beer battered fish with home made coleslaw. My husbands steak poutine was enormous and very tasty! A full meal in itself! Mixed beer list was very welcome! We both ordered Quebec beer which we hadn't seen since our trip to Quebec. Very reasonably priced. Service was attentive yet not intrusive with welcomed helpful suggestions. I wished the patio was more easily accessible and had a better view of the town but thats more to do with the location and layout of the building. Will definitely visit again!

“Expected Better”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

The pub is a little down graded but the service was pleasant and the food was okay. Their location across from the brewery is prime. Menu items maybe made fresh, but the ingredients were not as far as I could tell. Great food quality (even though it wasn't) is hardly an excuse for a slower than normal food delivery time. The Philly steak sandwich tuna melt were basic roadhouse style food and quality. The beer selection was very good and orientated to the Town Brewery as it should be. For a town wanting to attract day visitors that spend money those visitors deserve a higher quality pub. However for fast food lunch fare and a local beer it is worth the visit.

“A bit above average for a pub”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

This place has a great selection of beers, including Creemore Springs (of course) and some unique drafts. The food took a while to come, which usually is a good sign. Fish and chips were fine, chicken wrap was below average (not much in it). Service was fine.
We do recommend Creemore for a visit. Check out Creemor Springs brewery and some of the stores on the main street.

“Top notch service, great beers, and a fine pub”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Creemore brewery, and the Old Mill House was recommended by the Creemore staff as a great place for a drink and a bite to eat.

We wandered in and discovered a "lost in time" pub - no feng shui or trendy/gimmicky crap, just a nice eating/drinking establishment catering to the local crowd and tourists alike.

We chatted with both the owners wife and son, who were both charismatic and friendly. When the talk turned to beer, we were blown away by the knowledge and passion that the bartender had for his trade. We were even more impressed when his recommendations for beers were spot on! I am a lover of beer, and particularly of trying new beers, but I would never even have thought to try the two new varieties we were served (both Unibrue offerings - beers that I had not heard of before). The bartender listened to my likes and dislikes, and came up with two winners. He clearly has a sincere passion for beer, and is happy to share his knowledge when a conversation is struck up.
We didn't eat much for lunch (having previously snacked at Blue Mountain), but the wings were solid and the service was great. We noted on the menu that everything is fresh made in house - a rare find these days. We plan to return with bigger appetites!

Interesting fact: The pub owner used to be a part owner of the Creemore brewery, and is now brewing under the Mad and Noisy label. His first offering (Hops and Bolts) is an India Pale Lager....not ridiculously over-hopped the way so many craft brews are these days - it was definitely refreshing and unique.

If you enjoy rubbing shoulders with the locals and trying something different, this is a second great reason to make the trip to Creemore.
