This is a massive, open building, about four hundred years old. The town has grown around it, but left a fair sized green space that gives it the air of being hallowed ground.

You can see and feel the best admiral in Korea,
He's name is Lee Soon Shin, He was a admiral of chosun navy,
He beated the japanese hundreds navy ships only with 12 ships,
So nowadays many japanese worship him as a god.

Korea`s largest wooden pavilion. First built in 18th century, with 68 huge wooden pillars. Important place of Korea history. Very well maintained and in good condition. Beautiful place with small park, English speaking guide and English explanation boards. Small museum downstairs. Must see in Yeosu.

Amazing to see the structure with its scale and outlooks when you knew it was built many many years ago.
