This is an old hotel which need a lot of reparation. But it is okey anyway. It is very chaep so do not complaine if everything is not perfect. You get what You pay for. And what is very important, the rooms have aircondition. Though we had to switch to another room the second night, because the aircondition was broke and got another room without any problems. The location of the hotel is perfect and the green bus to and from the airport, stops right outside. 2,2 euro with bus per person, instead of 35-40 euro with taxi each way. The breakfast is ok and the owner is a very nice woman with a good feeling for service. No radio and no TV on the room, but who needs that? Just sit on the balcony and feel the relaxation, listen to the birds and some noise far away. The hotel is quiet and we slept well.

I have just returned from staying here, there were 21 of us in total, the rooms were very basic and very greek, which adds abit of charm. The pool was a nice size and some days there were only two of us there! Breakfast was bread, cheese, ham, jams orange juice, tea and coffee (not very hot). The staff here were fantastic and would go out of their way to help with anything they could, when we arrived it was 4am the lift wasnt working and we all wanted water, they kindly got water from the bar for us and carried our cases to our rooms, they also didnt mind that we decorated the dining area with photographs (as we were there on a hen party) and also they helped with a few other things we required. The entertainment in the Oasis bar was absolutely great,we would usually go out earlier in the evening but would always return after an hour as we had such great fun with Billy and the other bar staff. Would definately return, yes i wont lie when first entering my room i was abit surprised as to how basic it was but once settled it really didnt matter......Fantastic staff and entertainment!!!

This is my 2nd visit to Pantheon and I would go again...Renata and her staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is not luxurious and many people wouldn't like the fact that it is a very basic Greek hotel - it has the charm that all hotels had 20yrs ago. The pool is small but rarely busy. The bedrooms are clean and beds are comfy. Nice balcony, small but enough room to sit out and to hang towels etc. The bathroom is typically a "wet" room with hand held shower and clean towels - a bit threadbare sometimes. Breakfast is continental with lovely fresh bread every day, juice, cheese etc. The lift is an experience, again typically Greek 20+ yrs ago. the pool bar is open from 11am until late and all bar staff are fun and friendly - there are live shows some nights which are good fun. It is a 5minute walk to the beach from Pantheon, shops and tavernas galore within 5 - 10 minutes in any direction. Messonghi is quiet but lovely and perfect for a relaxing "do nothing" holiday. Corfu itself is a beautiful island and the Greeks are friendly, smiling people who are coping well in this difficult economy.

Don't come to Greece and stay in a 2 star hotel and then complain there's no tv in your room.
This hotel is just what you should expect and it delivers in full. Basic rooms, basic breakfast, but also fantastic service and fantastic location. The rooms are basic but very clean as is the rest of the hotel and pool.

I have rated this hotel very good on the basis that is is so cheap to stay here and they do try hard to please. The location is excellent very handy for the restaurants and beach. On entering our room we were a little shocked at the size of it, being very small, the furniture and decor is sparce and basic but you have everything you need...bed, dressing table chair, bedside table, wardrobe. mattresses were of a reasonable quality and we slept very well. The shower room/wc was of a decent size; the shower had enough power, but it was impossible not to soak the floor and the drain in the middle of the room was very slow to take the water away so kept getting wet feet and towels. The maids were very very friendly and eager to please and looked after whatever you needed, if they could translate which was quite amusing when I asked her about the air conditioning. She immediately bought me a controller for the air con which was extremely efficient, but the translation that this was at an extra cost took some doing and which I am not sure is stated on the hotel description, you can also hire a fridge although I saw some people using the hotel's fridge behind the bar which was never open. This is not a worry though, as the Oasis bar is virtually next to the hotel pool and is very conveneint. The pool area was more often than not deserted so plenty of beds as everyone uses the beach mostly. I have read reviews of the basic breakfast and to be honest it was repetitive but the bread was always very fresh and there is plenty of it, served with ham, cheese, jams, sometimes greek yogurt and honey served, or fresh fruit, it alternated but always the bread ham and cheese which you got used to. The bread was no nice we used to fill up on this and was quite happy. The tea and coffee was often cold as they served the hot water in open jugs so once it had been sitting there a while it was cold..I don't know why they don't use thermal jugs with lids? Anyhow not complaining as for money you can't possibly.

The beach is 2 minutes walk away if that and we used to get there around 10am and always plenty of beds right next to the shoreline; word of warning..lots of pebbles and stones when entering the sea (big ouch) wear flip flops or crocs! Can't remember cost of beds and umbrella (which is a must) but we had every day and we thought reasonable, you got a table inbetween beds which was nice to put drinks etc. on. All the restaurants are lined up right behing the sun beds so very handy for drinks and lunch and they are fine with you using the toilets throughout the day. We ate mostly at Spiros on the beach as the food was lovely and good portions and staff very friendly. We went on the boat trip to Corfu Town quite pricey and enjoyed the buzziness and shopping and also to Greece and this was amazing..lots of swimming in azure waters on stops along the way. The Messonghi area is blissfully relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and unfussiness of it all, but if you are looking for nightlife beyond restaruants and a few bars there really isn't that much. You can walk along towards Moraitika and you will find more to do but really a resort of total relaxation. Would recommend for couples but probably not children.

The Pantheon Hall hotel is in a great location. It’s just around the corner from the beach, near to a few bars, a couple of supermarkets and the village bakers. There are lots of tavernas near by.
The "Village taverna" near the bakers is outstanding, great value for money with fantastic food and service.
It's a 15-minute flat walk from a much larger resort of Moraitika, which has lots of nightlife and shops.
The buses around the island can be easily reached at the crossroads, which is 10 minutes walk away.
If you walk along the coast road to the south, you will come to small traditional fishing villages, which are very interesting with great food.

We stayed mainly around the village and had a very relaxing time. The village is quiet and great if you want to chill out and eat great traditional food with local wine.

The rooms at the hotel are basic, clean, comfortable and provide all you need while on holiday. The showers are powerful and the fridge is incredibly cold, which was very much appreciated.
Nothing is too much trouble for the owners. They are new to the hotel and are working hard to provide a great holiday experience, which I feel they achieved. The pool and all communal areas are cleaned regularly and the sun beds around the pool are extremely comfortable. I stay with my daughter and often had the pool to ourselves.
Have at look at their web site http://www.pantheonhall.com It’s a good representation of the hotel.
This hotel is great value for money and provides excellent customer service in an unspoiled area of Corfu.

Be Warned - If you want to book any trips, ask at the hotel.
We walked around the corner to the “Messonghi Travel Center “ and were totally ripped off. Charmed by a lady who sold us a customary Greek boat trip with traditional food, drink, and music to Corfu Town.
It turned out to be a very expensive ferry trip with not even a glass of water provided.
We spoke to many other people who had the same experience and regretted using the “Messonghi Travel Center “.

Room Tip: Ask for the back room in the hotel if you want peace and a pleasant country view . Front of the hote...
