I had a very comfortable 2 night's stay in April 2013. Chris is a great host, very welcoming. There is a great selection of DVDs and tea and coffee in a communal area near the rooms so you can take them back to your room if you fancy a quiet night in. The bedroom was very comfortable and stylish. The cottage in general is beautifully done up. Chris was very helpful with finding somewhere for an evening meal and general information about things to do in the area. Breakfast was amazing. All in all a very pleasant and comfortable stay

Chris was really terrific and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed a bit of time with the dogs as we were really missing ours back at home. The cottage is quirky and charming and the room was very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. So many things to see and do nearby--driving distance-- that it was impossible to choose. Chris had great recommendations for sights to see and places to eat. It's very comfortable and homey and felt like staying with a friend. Very good value for money, exactly the kind of place we look for--friendly and unpretentious but with everything you need. In an ideal world it would be a shorter walk to good places to eat, but there great choices just a few minutes' drive away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to be back someday.

Our third time of staying at this delightful cottage on our way to/from the Isles of Scilly. It is one of the best B&B's we have stayed in and Chris is the 'Host with the Most' as nothing is too much trouble. His breakfasts are to die for and his help with places to dine in the evening has led us to several very good establishments but our favourite is The Kings Arms at Ruan Lanihorne where the Landlady is extremely helpful and personable and the menu choice (particularly fresh catch of the day fish) is very good and beautifully presented. We have had different friends with us on each stop-off at Spring Cottage and they too have been very impressed with this 'little gem'. Thank you once again Chris. See you again. Maureen & Duggie

This is my second time back at Spring Cottage and once again Chris made stay another great one. It's always a joy to visit Cornwall, but knowing I will be staying at Spring Cottage makes my stay even more enjoyable and exciting. Everything is made so effortless for the guest. The location of this B&B and interior decor is stunning and very homely.

Don't think about staying here, just book it!

We have just returned from spending 4 nights at Spring Cottage. On our arrival we received a very warm welcome from Chris . He offered us help with our luggage . Then he gave us welcoming cups of tea and coffee with a home made cake, delicious !! The bedroom and shower were spotless, even a hair dryer in the chest of drawers. With breakfast being offered at a time to suit us this was great.. We chose 08.30, and after sleeping well in the comfortable bed we enjoyed our breakfast. Fresh fruits followed by a superbly cooked full English , toast ,butter, preserves with tea and coffee. Everything was very satisfactory, that is why Spring Cottage has the awards it deserves. As well as Chris being a charming host , we would thoroughly recommend you stay here. Chris knows that we will certainly be returning. Robin and John Civil Partners. Retired

Stayed for one night and very pleased with our choice of accommodation. The room was beautifully furnished and well equipped.
Greeted with delicious cakes and a cuppa, we were made very welcome. As for breakfast, nice to stay somewhere with a broad menu so you're not obliged to have the full English everyday.
In short, a stay here will not disappoint.

Quirky, unique cottage, beautifully renovated. Large comfortable beds with cushions and throws, modern bathrooms, tv and DVD player in the room. A really nice touch is that you can dip into the owners DVD collection if you fancy a cosy night in. Yummy breakfast made to order...recommend the pancakes (can also be gluten free) with crispy bacon and maple syrup!mmmmmm
