“Orange Fever worth a try !!!”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

My wife and I spent the day at Orange Fever on Oct 3rd. We stayed the day here because of the good reviews on tripadvisor. We arrived by taxi from the cruise dock at 0845a and very few locations had anything set up by then. by 0915 most of the chairs were set up throughout the beach. We noticed that the beach in front of Orange Fever is smaller that some of the other bars/restaurants, but we decided to give it a chance. We paid the $14.00 for 2 chairs/Umbrellas, and 2 ice cold carib beers. The two gentleman who ran the bar were very helpful and constantly asked us if there was anything they could for us. We ordered a bucket of beer at a cost of $10.00 for 6 more Carib beers. At 1100am we were advised of the PIZZA SPECIALS and other specials for the day. We ordered the Hawaiian Pizza, and as expected.....very good. On this day, there was only 1 cruise ship in town, so the bars were not really crowded. We would stay at Orange Fever again when we return to the island. Most of the Bars in the area had the same prices for chairs and beers, but get a few bars down from the Adam/Eve store, and the prices went to $10.00 and up for chairs, and the beer was as much as $15.00 a bucket. For the people worried about Nudity next door at the Club Orient resort......don't go past the rocks/parking lot, and you probably wont see any Nudity.

“Great Beach Bar and Restaurant....but..”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

I read rave reviews about Orange Fever while looking for a place to go for the day on Orient Beach while in St. Martin on our cruise. Everything was great......the price for beach chairs and an umbrella ($14 and 2 free drinks), the drinks, the wonderful food at such reasonable prices. The only negative was how packed together we all were in the beach chairs....almost on top of each other. I prefer having at least a couple of feet or more between other beach goers but that was not the case here. Just a short walk down the beach, there were plenty of places where people weren't packed in like sardines, however, they didn't seem to have the business that Orange Fever had. Overall the place had a lot more positives than negatives. We would definitely go back to the restaurant/bar but might get our beach chairs in a different location.

“Some of the best food on the beach”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Try the escargot and calamari, they are both excellent, totally unexpectedly for a beach-front day-time bar and grill.
