Bring your bathing suit or not. It doesn’t matter - everyone can wear or not wear what they want. It’s a beautiful inlet which still shows signs from the horrific storm and charming in its own way. Not a lot of people and a cute bar with some food is located right on the beach. Fun drinks and fun atmosphere. Make it whatever you want.

Just an honest update after Irma. Bikini restaurant has reopened near the village, 3 more beach restaurants, are well underway building and will be open by December for sure No one knows about the small places yet but i expect some people will re open. Good news is no dirty beaches anymore, all pristine and clear, and...NO dirty seeweeds, finally . All the watersports have re opened All the restaurants on the Plaza of Orient have re opened and week ends are just as busy as before, live music too The Petit Carrefour is nearly finished rebuilding and will re open soon, yellow sub too. Good Morning breakfast place is being worked on: It s more quiet it s more authentic too , you definitely see more beach than beach chairs and the locals will be thrilled to see the supportive patrons again. They need you guys ...You ll still see some broken buildings but it s all nice and clean now.
And you ll have 3 places to buy the crusty french baguette again and those excellent french croissants...

Omg. Get to the naked beach -- sooo high thick and wide. You wont be able to take it all in at once!!!

Nice white sandy beach. Restaurants opening back up. There are several excursions available, jet skiing, waterboarding and others. It was quiet when we went. Snorkeled, but didn't see much life. There is a clothing optional section, so beware.

The hurricanes wiped out all of the bars, restaurants, and rental homes on this beautiful beach, but it’s still just that- a beautiful beach. Now there is a single bar/restaurant shack serving beer, mixed drinks, and food on their single grill. We ordered the freshly caught grouper with rice, beans, and salad and it was absolutely delicious. Note that this location is cash only for everything. There is also a massage shack, run by a single woman with a massage table. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for a rental fee.

This is still a nude beach, clothing optional!

While this was once a tourist attraction with all the amenities, it’s now a perfect spot for those who are a little more adventurous and really want to get away from it all. If you are visiting with the cruise ships, a 20 minute taxi ride ($10/person) will get you away from the shops and crowds and to your own slice of paradise.

Because of how remote the location now is, arrange for your taxi driver to return at a certain time. We found the place started to clear out at 4:30 and wouldn’t recommend staying later than 5pm.

This is still a beautiful spot which also serves as an important reminder that the islands are still rebuilding and need our help and patronage.
