“Alot of waves and beautiful sand”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

Didn't see any nudists as most people spoke of regarding this beach. The beach itself had alot of wavy waters, smooth sand, and a few beach bars to quench the thirst with a carib or tropical drink.

“amazing beach!”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

This beach has something for everyone. The north end is rather empty and you can bring your own chairs and coolers to make a picnic. Furthest south is a nude resort and in between the two are a wide variety of fun beach bars and yummy restaurants with lounge chairs to rent. There's not a better day than French rose' and white sand with the turquoise Caribbean at your feet. This is beautiful sand, perfect waves (not too wild, not too gentle)... an ideal beach for a long walk and a leisurely lunch. Wish I was there!

“Best beach in the world!”
Reviewed April 30, 2014 via mobile

And clothing optional at the south end. We've spent several weeks a year enjoying this beach for over 20 years. The stretch in front of Club Orient is at the south end (yellow umbrellas) and is quieter with calmer water that the more northern end. If being among naked folk is not your thing then the other end of the beach is fine. Price to rent a large beach umbrella and two chairs varies depending on which part of the beach you go to. The entire beach is public. No photography in front of Club Orient Resort portion of the beach or you may find your camera or phone in the ocean! Papagayo restaurant all the way at the south end is very nice, with great frozen drinks and reasonably priced food. Also clothing optional. Courtesy for others means bring a towel to sit on if naked. Plenty of other places on the beach to eat and drink at. The water is beautiful as is the sand and the scenery. Enjoy!

“Beach is very Nice but enjoyment is about location location”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

Orient Bay is a great beach, sand is wonderful, rolling surf great to relax in and certainly lots of people watching opportunities. Cost was similar to other Caribbean beaches, $20.00 for two chairs an umbrella and you got your first drink ( local products ) free. The beach is very very busy, chairs jammed in side by side. Service we found to be less then adequate but that might have been the particular operator ( Good time Charlies ) as we heard from others on our cruise that their experience was quite a bit different. The taxi drivers seem to be hooked up with particular operators on the beach but you do not have to use that particular one. Walk the beach and choose where you prefer to be. The locals selling products on the beach are some what annoying, the same person will try to sell you over and over and over thought to stay pleasant time after time. Transportation was fine but make sure you plan your return time so as to be with others in the taxi. A couple alone will have to pay at least $10.00 each where a full taxi can be as cheap as $6.00 per person.

“Great Beach”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Lots of activity on this beach, jet skis, para sailing, banana boat rides and even a water trampoline. the cost is not terribly high but there is a cost. I believe around 60 US dollars fro 1/2 hour para sailing and the same for jet ski.Banana boat is $15 and trampoline is $10. There is also a cost of $10 per chair which includes and umbrella.
