This was my favorite beach during our 5-island stop cruise we just took in March of 2013. The water was beautiful and the beach had very fine white sand that did not get hot in the sun. The visibility in the water was fantastic for snorkeling. The only annoying part of the beach was that it was crowded with tourists, which attracted vendors that asked every 5 minutes if you would like to buy something. The plus side to the vendors was that they had vendors that offered massages at your beach chair...$30 for 30 minutes. They even had fresh aloe they would use if you were sun burned. They also sold cheap buckets of beer (6 beers for $15), especially cheap for those of us that were on cruise ships and used to cruise ship prices.
There were plenty of water sports along the beach to include sail boats, paddle boats, snorkel gear, parasailing, and wave runners.
The best part of the beach was our lunch at Orange Fever where I had one of the best pizzas of my life (and I am a New Yorker!). Our lunch with a large bottle of water was a whopping $18.
There is plenty of people watching to do on this beach, especially because it buts up to a nude resort. Unfortunately all of the nudies I saw had no business being at a nude beach, but they sure were confident and enjoyed the sun.
