“Great place to spend the day!”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

You can rent chairs and umbrella at the beach and they will serve you - food, drinks, buckets of beer. Food and drinks are cheap and the service is with a smile :) The chicken and shrimp skewers are really yummy.

“Best beach dining on the island”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Amazing service, American friendly, and the food is dynamite. Conch wraps, coconut shrimp, goat stew and chicken curry - not to mention the crab cakes. You need to be treated to this oasis. Not a beach bar, but an upscale menu with homelike welcoming. Go there and never forget it. The owners greet you at the porch.

“LOVE this place!”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

My 2 friends and I just got home from a week on the island. We ate here twice. You can't go wrong with a bucket of 6 beers for $10. The butterfly shrimp and calamari were delicious. The oxtail stew was so flavorful and filled with extremely tender meat. Zellman, the bar owner, is an adorable 22 year old who truly loves what he does; his mom is the owner of the restaurant side and cooks all the food in the back. She came out to meet us so we could compliment the food. Another great visit to St. Maarten.

“Great Find on the Beach”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

Orient Bay is loaded with restaurants. It is difficult to pick and choose, but this place, you need to try. Great lobster, and really the only place on the beach that you can get conch. Had the conch wrap and my lovely wife had the lobster wrap. Both wraps were loaded with seafood. They provide french fires and beans and rice, if you like. The prices are good. Probably the best on the beach and the service is wonderful. They are not open for dinner and are only open for lunch. The place opens about 11:30 and closes about 3:30. It's pretty far down the beach and you can miss it, if you walk too fast. Beers are inexpensive and they take euros for dollars. Prices are the same whether it be euros or dollars. Superb!

“Great staff, food was okay”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Great service, food a little disappointed after reading other reviews. Mussels were from New Zealand which were very large and chewy and strong tasting for mussels Club sandwich was huge and fresh ingredients, but very difficult to eat since it was a club on a French baguette.
