This is such a light, airy apartment; it made us smile each day. There is so much space in the main room – living room and kitchen combined – that moving about is comfortable, never cramped. The high wooden ceilings and beams please the eye, they let the heat rise and the air circulate, especially if the main door and balcony doors are open; it’s natural air conditioning and most welcome.
Facilities, equipment and storage are above average; beds are good – the main bed perhaps a little smaller than the photo suggests – and the bathroom just so nice. You would imagine that an apartment near the main road is noisy, yet the action is way down below and it dies away by mid-evening, leaving the night-time really very quiet indeed.
Sunrise and sunset are two times of day to be savoured from the balcony, as the sun’s rays creep across the broad valley beyond the village, and as the sun sets over the western horizon. At all other times of day the views northwards to the sea and the hills, and southwards over the rooftops of the village to the dramatic granite mountains, evolve as the light changes; you could spend hours soaking it all in.
Jerome has planned this facility well and is clearly an effective manager, responding well and rapidly to any enquiry. Thank you, Jerome.
