“Just Gorgeous”
Reviewed June 26, 2014

This is one of those places that you don't want to talk about because it feels like a secret present to yourself but it's only fair to give them the credit they deserve. A really lovely house in a stunning setting next to a working dairy farm. Topsy went above and beyond and does the nicest baked tomatoes I've ever tasted. Will bring the family back but it was a real treat to be there as a lone traveller too. Looked after but also left to my own devices - the perfect balance.

Room Tip: I stayed in 'Summer' but they must all be lovely.

We stayed here one night as we were passing through Salisbury. Everything about the stay was wonderful, from the friendly greeting with a welcome cup of tea in the restful front room, our suite, which was quiet and comfortable, the delicious breakfasts, and enjoyable conversations with the family and other guests. We liked it so much we went out of our way to stay there again on our way home a week later.

Wow what a find. We loved Little Langford Farm. Topsy was the most welcoming hostess, helping us to our rooms before providing a lovely pot of tea and a glass of milk fresh from her herds of cows. The views are stunning from the Summer room, which incidentally is plenty big enough for 2 adults and a child. The breakfast was perfect too, lots of fruit, cereal and yoghurt followed by a hearty full English breakfast.
Really couldn't fault anything. Thank you Topsy for making our stay so comfortable.

Room Tip: The Summer room is perfect for a family.

We had a wonderful couple of nights at this property and Topsy is a lovely person and host. The property is grand and our room and bed very comfortable. We also enjoyed our look at the milking operation and stroll in the nearby lanes. The breakfast prepared by Topsy was very tasty and using local produce, some of which was from this working farm. Also the farm fresh milk was a treat. Linda and Greg

This B&B was the cleanest one that I have ever been in. It was so comfortable and the food was great! Beautiful place - thanks Topsy!! We loved seeing the antiques.
My grandkids were quite welcome as well.

The title says it all. I picked this B&B from a farmhouse book, well before the Internet, because of the charming line drawing illustration. I rang Topsy to get instructions before we set off (no mobile phones then), and still remember the shock and awe of seeing the farmhouse for the first time.
The setting is idyllic without question, and it is the perfect base from which to visit the local sites of interest. It is also a perfect spot to go walking. There are earthworks all around, and a Roman Road on the ridge in Grovelly Wood, which the Americans thoughtfully tarmaced during the second world war when they were camped up there. We can pass days in the woods and never get tired of the landscape. A days walk will take you over the ridge and down into the villages on the others side. Bear in mind that it can get very muddy, so wear suitable footwear if you chose to walk. The house is fantastic with large airy rooms, and comfortable beds. Breakfast is amongst the best, with fresh produce and locally sourced eggs. You will be well looked after here and you will not want to leave.

This is a lovely place to stay. We were only there for one night, but the room was spacious and comfortable. We were greeted with tea and biscuits in the lounge and our hostess made a point of remembering our names, which was good. Breakfast very good and a pub not far away with good food. Highly recommend.
