Visiting the Cafe as part of Barry's Wine Tours the food and wines were delicious and rewarding. Excellent examples of NZ cuisine. The atmosphere with its out door seating in the sun was superb. And don't forget to sample the many wines made on site.

For visitors and locals alike this property offers a great experience - combining the vineyard and winery, tasting room and wine sales, and of course the restaurant. The menu is wide-ranging, food quality is first class, all backed by friendly and efficient table service and of course wine that has been grown and/or produced on the property.
For visitors to Auckland Soljans is about a 20-minute drive from the CBD, but you will have a true experience in the countryside.

A nice place to sit outside and enjoy some wine in summer. Only dined there a couple of times. First time we went I was thrilled to find soft shelled crab on the menu and it was fantastic! 2nd time we went I ordered the same starter but it was very average. Main courses was alright on both occasions but unsure if I'll go all the way just for the food. But if they fix the soft shelled crab I'll be going back every week! Will definitely give them a try again though.

Well balanced menu. Good to be out of the city for a leisurely occasion. Caters for outdoors and indoor tables.

My husband and I visited Soljans for the first time last week and absolutely loved it. We thought we would take a short drive out to west auckland from Epsom to enjoy some good wine and food. Soljans seemed to be the only winery with a restaurant that was open over this period or not fully booked. What a treat. We ordered the Platter for two and it was absolutely beautiful. It was the Vinters Platter of mediterranean delicacies, locally cured meats, selection of cold and hot seafood, danish feta, kalamata olives, cheese, lignja, chutney, aioli, pesto and freshly baked bread for a very reasonable $55.00. Food was absolutely fresh and the very best quality. We would definitely return.
