We went here because it was right on the beach in Calella afer a morning at several Costa Brava beaches (which are unbelievably beautiful). It was packed as were all the other places right on the beach at lunchtime (2:30 pm) The food was tolerable but no more - what you would expect from a place with a captive audience (lots of families with kids there for an early May weedend.) Then we got the bill. We were charged double for the wine. When pointed out, the double charge was subtracted (nothing resembling an apology) but we were still charged the 10% tax on the original total, an extra couple of euros. The waiter claimed not to understand why there was still an issue. When we paid the bill with this minor overcharge, it was converted from euros to dollars despite my request to pay in Euros ("Nothing can be done") The conversion rate was by far the worst we were charged, 10% over what it should have been, adding another few dollars to the bill. Chiseling money from tourists seems to be the specialty of the house. Caveat empetor. (And I wound up with an upset stomach from the food and the annoyance!!) Do yourself a favor. Don't go there.
