The location is just perfect. The view from the terrace is very nice, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The restaurant proposes good meals.
The staff is very friendly and very professional. The hotel is very well managed by the same family for 3 generations.
The hotel is well maintained and has been recently renovated.
The breakfast buffet is rich with quality products.
My wife got sick during our stay and they prepared some special dishes to fit her upset stomach.
Very good experience overall, maybe just one small negative note: the sound proofing of the rooms.

Room Tip: Sea view definitely worth it.

The position of this hotel on the most stunning stretch of the coastal path with the view overlooking Callela is worth 5 stars on its own. It is obviously the strong point of the hotel, which it uses to to its full advantage, with both the indoor and outdoor dining terrace. However the hotel, which has remained in the same family since it was established in the fifties hasn't let this lead to complacency, and also offers comfortable accommodation and good food in a relaxed environment. The experienced owners are very hands on and together with the staff are both helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Our room whilst not boutique was comfortable, had a compact modern bathroom, and a small balcony with great views. In summery, a very well run 3 star hotel charging 4 star prices but completely justified by its 5 star location and would visit again.

This is a friendly family run hotel in a stunning location overlooking the whole village.
The staff are efficient and helpful and always eager to please.
The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean and many have fantastic sea views.
The buffet style breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the bay, a great way to start your day.

Room Tip: Request a sea view, it's worth the slightly higher price.

This was clearly once a four-star seaside hotel, but it's in need of a makeover. The rooms are pretty plain, though the view from our suite was stunning. The hotel's best feature is the outdoor dining area. What a beautiful site! It'd be great for a wedding. Loved having breakfast looking at the gorgeous views every morning.

One note: the internet was almost useless the first day, and totally nonexistent the second day.

We stayed here for two nights in early May 2017. Turns out, not much is happening in Palafrugell during the early days of May (it almost felt abandoned) but that did not stop this hotel from being adorable. It's a simple hotel, the rooms are not fancy but have everything you need. What makes it adorable is the outdoor area with views of the sea and town. If you are looking to book a hotel for a wedding, you should consider this one.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved having access to the coastal trail and town was a very short walk away. We even hiked up to the Jardins de Cap Roig one afternoon. Breakfast was a typical buffet where you boil your own egg. Hint: Flip the egg over half way though to cook it evenly. No more then 5 minutes for soft boiled.
