I'm very surprised by the previous review as our meal this evening was faultless as was the service. This was our first visit as we hadn't previously realised what a beautiful courtyard they had at the back of the restuarant. My husband chose 'amazing stew in old wine' (lovely title) but was a little taken aback when the waitress mentioned that it was actually braised cheek which neither of us had had before. But he'd no sooner said this than the waitress dashed off and came back with a small sample for him to taste (delicious) which is not something which many restaurants would bother to do.
We shall be back there before we go home especially as their menu is a little different from what's on offer elsewhere in the village.
