La esquina de colas is not a exactly a restaurant, more of a tapas bar, though you can make a meal out of tapas. The tapas are very good here. Bacalao (salt cod) with champagne sauce is one of their best tapas. The plate of cecina (dry beef, sliced thin) for 7 euros is a good value. The toasts are very good, there is a lot of variety (anchovies, goat cheese, ham, etc) and they are very reasonably priced. A great selection of local wines, all served at the right temperature by the glass. A very nice and friendly staff! Tables and chairs outside on the Plaza Mayor make this a lovely place to sit and watch the storks on the tall buildings.
