“Hidden jewel!”
Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

Built in a cave of Palace from the 16th century has an excellent selection of wines from the Toro region. Friendly and corteous service by Miguel. Although the specialties are Carrillera Estofada and Rabo de Toro (Oxtail) we ordered Bacalao Ajo Arriero and Bacalao a la Piperada (Cod Fish).

“high quality & good service”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

The service was really sweet. We were welcomed by husband, wife and young daughter. I presume that the wife did the excellent cooking. We had perfectly prepared duck and some wonderful desserts. The husband served us with so much enthusiasm - chapeau!

“Creative Cuisine”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Well executed, creative but unpretentious twists on classic Spanish dishes. Very reasonably priced. Nice bar crowed with local young people at night. Lovely location in a 16th century mansion with courtyard as well as indoor seating. Chef is young and very friendly.

“What a find!!!”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

A really great restaurant in Toro, most of the restaurants, although perfectly OK are basic Spanish. This is a serious restaurant with an owner and chef who really care. Try the Toro wines the owner recommends, up there with the best in Spain.

Around 60 euros for two, everything included, worth every penny for a nice welcome and excellent food.
