We stayed at Kwara Camp for four nights and were treated to some amazing safaris. The guides were so knowledgeable and their tracking skills were awesome.
The camp does get visited by the local wildlife during the night 9the camp is not fenced), which adds to the experience.
All of the camp staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is great.
A truly unbelievable experience.

We were unsure what to expect at this camp but were not disappointed in the least.
Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
Meals were delicious and taken at a common area/table. They were delicious.
Accommodations were rustic ( permanent tents with great netting, well fitted doors all on an elevated wooden floor. Flush toilets provide a much appreciated level of comfort but otherwise it's an 'au natural' experience. We could hear a hippo rooting around in front of our tent one night and could hear the roar of lions' echo through the area at times during the night.
During the 3-4 hour siesta midday we observed wart hogs and monkeys and baboons cavort all around us. A great place!

3 unforgettable days we spent at Kwara Camp - as it was our 5-year anniversary, we hoped to do something special... and Kwara Camp exceeded all our expectations!

Phoebe (Manager) has been an amazing host, her staff the friendliest forecoming people one could wish for. Our safari guide 'G' and trackers KB & Alex showed us Okavango Delta at its best -lions, a cheetah, buffalo, hyenas, zebras, hippos and crocodiles just to name some of the highlights!

The delightful dinners with fellow travelers, the after-dinner drinks around the fireplace (with hippos roaring in the background!) - we loved it.

What's great:
you have the flexibility to either do safari rides, mokoro or boat cruises - all from one base!

We have recently returned from our honeymoon and couldn't wait to get online and write a review for Kwara camp. We stayed at several places in several countries during our trip and Kwara was our most favourite place. The camp is the perfect balance between comfort and rustic wilderness. The tents are raised and full of all the comforts you could need, but we also fell asleep to the sounds of singing frogs and snorting hippos in the moonlight right outside our door! The tents are canvassed on the sides but the fronts all face the water and are just fly screened so you are always able to enjoy the beauty around you. The main lounge area is open plan and facing the water, whilst there is a huge fire pit with encircling chairs where you can enjoy your early morning breakfast before your game drive. The delta itself is like being on another planet - the wilderness is stunning and humbling and you can drive around for hours and not see another car anywhere. We saw a cheetah and it's cub, lions, hyena, elephants, buffalo, giraffe, and so much more. The food is delicious and plentiful, with an early breakfast, brunch, high tea, and supper. There is also a bar with cold soft and alcoholic drinks to which you are encouraged to help yourself whenever you would like. But the best bit about Kwara are the people who work there. The staff are so friendly - the managers, the guides, the cooks, the cleaners - all are genuine and joyful to be around. As it was our honeymoon, the staff made us a beautiful present and card to keep which was very touching. Biggest thank you goes to our guides, Obzer and KB, who worked incredibly hard, were very knowledgable, and also great fun. We enjoyed our sundowners and 'learning from each other' as Obzer said. All in all, we cannot recommend Kwara enough. You are kept in total comfort and safety whilst also experiencing the wildness of the delta.
