This hotel was clean and warm, with a good fire going in the bar.
The accommodation was a little dated but that did not detract from our stay.
We had a good nights sleep and good food in preparation for our next days walking.
The staff were friendly, and we didn't need to call on them for anything.
We ate in the bar and the food was tasty and served promptly.
Breakfast was the usual faire, although they did make me some porridge which was not on the main menu which was very good of them.

On past visits to Reeth we have missed out this pub, I am not sure why as it is now my favourite of the three. We first went in on a Friday night, they had a lovely log fire and the pub had a nice atmosphere. We also went for Sunday lunch, we choose to sit in the restaurant as the pub part was abit to warm (fire still on) we all had the carvery and had all enjoyed their meal. The hand pulled beer was spot on.

Visited here recently for a meal on a couple of days away to the Yorkshire Dales. This is absolutely the best tandoori chicken I have ever had anywhere. Beer was good and very friendly staff, would definately visit again.

My husband and I ate here whilst holidaying in the Yorkshire Dales. The menu was varied and even had gluten free food on the menu. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, prices were reasonable and my husband thought the beer was excellent. They have various nights when they have entertainment and these nights are extremely popular.
