Reviwed Beechcroft last November, everything is great,it's the first time we've visited in July,we came specifically for the tour,it was awesome, what more could you need, lovely cottage all home comforts, swaledale at it's magnificent best and Le Tour.We watched from Grinton moor, fantastic views.
We did some different walks this time, lower level river walking, just as lovely,it's amazing the amount and diversity that can be found in Swaledale.

“Outstanding accommodation in a beautiful location”
Reviewed February 3, 2014 for a stay in January 2014

My wife, 20 year old son and I stayed at Wraycroft Cottage during a visit to North Yorkshire in January. The cottage was beautifully appointed in an outstanding location. The two bedroom cottage had all the conveniences we needed, including small but welcome touches such as a coffee plunger. We were very comfortable during our three night stay.
The cottage has a large garden, backs onto the Swale River and has expansive views of the Swale Valley. We were a very short stroll to the village of Reeth. There were three pubs which provided great meals, coffee shops, art and craft, an information centre and a village grocer which provided for all the needs of self caterers.
We were interested in walking and cycling, both of which are well provided for around Reeth.
The proprietor of the cottage, Ray, was extremely friendly and accommodating and we felt very welcome.

“Warm Welcoming Wonderful”

A short break of 3 nights in November is bound to be risky weatherwise but we had an excellent time in a lovely warm and comfortable cottage with spectacular views. The cottage had every amenity and provision required and it's location made it feel quiet and away from it all and yet was only 200 metres from the green and the hotels and eateries.
Both bedrooms were extremely comfortable and we all slept like logs after a couple of full days out and about. The onsite owner was very friendly and helpful and not in the slight bit pushy.

“Best view in Swaledale”
Reviewed November 13, 2013 for a stay in November 2013

First time I've been able to review this cottage even though we have had lots of holidays here over the years. We love coming to stay in this cottage, and in fact have just got back,it's a home from home cottage with all the amenities you could need. There is a small patio to sit out on weather permitting and use of a very large garden that leads down to the river Swale. The walking in this area is second to none, there are flat river walks and amazing hill walks,a good mixture of watering holes within walking distance. We have already booked for next July for that bike race you may have heard of.
