We were lucky enough to have chosen the little barn for a well deserved 4 night break. What a perfect base to explore Reeth and its surroundings. The cottage is exquisite, clean, comfortable, with a lovely surprise welcome pack that was very much appreciated. The cottage and garden was very private which was also a bonus. We were blessed with lovely weather which is always a bonus but we are planning a trip in the winter months as the cosiness of the barn was second to none. Thank you so much for a beautiful short break. Be sure to try the Buck Hotel, also perfect in every way.
What a fabulous find this little cottage is. Own private garden with high walls surrounding you, own garden furniture (we had breakfast sat out side with the birds in full song.
The log burner is down stairs which warms the accommodation in a few minutes and you can sit and enjoy the fire whilst sitting in the comfy chairs.
The bed is to die for , very comfortable and lovely dark room to help sleep.
The upstairs (living area) has everything you need, to make a meal or a snack.
The cottage was very well appointed and has its own private courtyard. It is in a quiet back lane from the market square, perfect for visiting Reeth's ammenities including the 3 pubs. The owners were very helpful, particularly as we left some belongings at the cottage which they returned to us promptly.
