Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay. Did some snorkeling just off the beach and an intro dive in the v clear water. The dive team were excellent in particular Arjen who was very calming, patient and efficient.

The food was a little hit and miss with some dishes excellent and others poor. The first night in particular was v bad and we wondered if it was chef's night off! Dining in a long table with other guests is a great way to meet others staying there.

The spa is also a great way to relax after a morning of diving.

The villas are a little rustic and no shampoo or shower gel provided. Good value though.

We will certainly return to see the friendly staff and beautiful under water scenery.

Ah, where to start … Cozy, wooden bungalows, spread around a pleasant pool and dining area, in a lush forest. Very friendly and efficient service. Food is served on long tables, where all guests sit together, including the owners (Dutch – Indonesian couple), to chat and discuss the dives of the day. There is a also pleasant spa on the premises. And of course the diving club, with capable instructors and good equipment. Underwater it is superb (turtles, shark), and the island has a authentic village with friendly people. Can’t wait to return!

Room Tip: ask for bungalow facing the water

Great dive spots just around the corner...5 min----10 min if you like.

Stayed here for a week. It is the best place on the island, we think. And I talked to a guy who had been on bunaken 5 times. It is a bit more expensive than the rest, but it is worth it. The bungalows are nice, as well as the pool area. The food is good, and they serve cake every afternoon - very nice touch. The place has a spa, where you can get massage. My girlfriend tried it twice and liked it - especially the quiet atmosphere.

The place do divingtrips as well, and the divemasters are relaxed about the diving, but still professional. We felt safe.

The place is located very close to the path where you can walk to the sea at lowtide to snorkel.

Room Tip: They have singles as well

We had a great time staying at the village. The bungalow with veranda was nice. We had a beach view bungalow, but actually there is not really a beach. With high tide, the water is just 3/4 meters from your room.
Although we are not divers, we really enjoyed the snorkeling. The reef in front of the resort is already quite nice, with lots of coral and many fish. I really recommend also to join the dive boats to other parts around the island for snorkeling.
The food is tasty and good with enough variety during the stay.

I just got back from a weeks diving in Bunaken and had an amazing time. The resort is small so you get a chance to meet and talk with your fellow travelers. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I appreciated that they ate dinner with the guests which gave it more of a family feel. Resort staff were always smiling and saying hello. Food was very tasty, served as a buffet style, always plenty to eat. After diving in the morning I enjoyed sitting around the pool and looked forward to the afternoon cake served everyday. Dive center is right on the resort with very friendly knowledgeable staff, and good equipment for rental.
