The resort is a lovely place with very friendly staff, clean small cottages and surrounded by a diving paradise. Common meals ensure fast contact to other guests and the staff does everything to make you feel good.

It was our very first trip to Indonesia in mid February'13. We've been searching Internet for good diving resort for about a month. Finally our choice fell on Two Fish 'cause of positive reviews here on TripAdvisor and a really cool BUDDY PROMO for low season: one person pays full price and your buddy gets a 50% discount. Yohoo! Due to this promo we decided to take accomodation in standard cottage instead of budget room =)

We've stayed on Bunaken for two weeks. All necessary transfers were made in time, very tasty food, comfortable and clean cottage, polite and professional local staff, great diving... We enjoyed every day and didn't have time to be bored. Our day was like this: breakfast, two morning dives, lunch, rest in the cottage/ walk to the village/ relaxing near the pool/ massage/ hunting with camera for crabs/ upload photos and impressions on Facebook/ filling in log book/ day dive/ snorkle, dinner, evening drink in the bar by the beach with divers all over the world and friendly staff singning songs and playing gitar.

We loved this place and people and wanna come back here in year or so, as well as visit Two Fish at Lembeh Straits (muck diving) and Bali (mantas!). Usually divers sombine several days on 2-3 Two Fish resorts and have special pricing for accomodation and transfers. Lots of people we've met in Bunaken return to Two Fish every year. I guess it's the best proof of great diving in Indonesia and cool atmosphere specifically at Two Fish. Morning dives and especially night dive on Bunaken were very impressive, our guides helped us see cool tiny staff. Diferrent landscapes, huge and small turtles, schools of baraccudas and jack fish, colorful leaf frog fish, dolphins...

I do recommend this resort: it combines Indonesian hospitality and European comfort.

Room Tip: All of the cottages there are on the seafront, but not with sea view as there is a mangrove area in...

The diving off of Bunaken is fabulous. The guides are quite proficient at spotting critters and display great care for their guests.
Two Fish offers a lovely environment with clean, comfortable bungalows.
All said, Two Fish offers a great retreat.

Room Tip: All rooms seem equally accommodating. A WiFi signal may be picked up in some of the rooms closer to...

Bunaken is all about what is happening under water rather than above. No prestine beaches here but mostly mangroves. Bunaken Island is more expensive than other regions in Sulawesi.

Plus: Professional staff. Good quality bungalows. Swimming pool is pretty new and clean. Great food and kitchen staff. (Bunaken Island however in general has better food standards than other regions of Sulawesi.)

Cons: the bluntly overcharge for little stuff like bringing you back to Manado by boat. (clear case of opportunity abuse) If possible take the public boat.

Room Tip: Take a (higher priced) bungalow close to the pool area instead of a cheap room in the main building.

I went there for a week to get my open water certification. I was a bit unsure because it was my first time diving, and traveling alone I didn't expect much fun. Turned out that everyone there is friendly, the staffs, the owner, the fellow travelers.. An instructor introduce me to all guests, a local staff even take me on a motorcycle trip to the bunaken village. They also pay good attention to the students and diving safety.

To make it short, these are some points I love:
-calm & friendly environment, perfect for studying
-good attention for boat, diving gear, diving safety & students
-cheap and affordable price for comfortable room, big enough bathroom
-a beachside bar to meet other guests every night
-cozy swimming pool
-great food!! Yumm!

Room Tip: Going there alone, I used budget room with one bathroom shared for two rooms. I found no problem wit...

Going back to somewhere you really liked after a long break is sometimes dangerous as your memories are often better than the reality. In this case the opposite is true. The addition of a pool and other small touches has improved the resort hugely.
The management team [led very ably by Mbak Nona] do a fantastic job, and the kitchen staff turn out a decent and filling, if simple, meal. The dive staff go out of their way to make the experience truly great

Hard to add anything new to the reviews already written. In short:
- professional diving crew: take their task serious, speak good English
- good diving equipment, well maintained
- friendly staff: good service, eye for customurs needs
- clean, well maintained accomodation
- nice place to stay and hang out.

Very good value for your money.

Advice: go in low season! We went in January and we had the resort, the staff and the diving places almost to ourselfs. Yes, it rains now and then, but that doesn't really affect the diving.

The owners are very nice. They even arranged a huge chocalate cake from the Mainland f(at Bunaken: there's no way to buy such a luxurious thing) or my boyfriends aniversary.

Room Tip: Budget room is good quality: there are only two of such rooms, so just one other room to share the b...
