You need a diving getaway close to Manado (30 min from airport then 45 min by boat from Harbor) to reach top quality dive sites, you need to check TWO FISH BUNAKEN out.
We have been there FOUR times so far and the diving is simply amazing ! The crews are very nice and professional. The accommodation is very comfortable and the new pool gives it even more appeal. Price is right. So if you don't dive (poor you), just drink a Bintang by the pool !

Room tip: The deluxe cottages by the pool are the way to go !

Anytime you go to this part of the world where there is great diving and inexpensive lodging and food, you can have a great time with Two Fish Divers.

Every dive is fun, with great videos and photograph opportunites with volcanic islands all around in a government controlled marine park. The resident turtles are some of the oldest I have ever observed. Wear booties on your return after two beautiful dives every morning as the boat returns to the property in low tide. The inclusive food at Two Fish Resort includes a variety of chicken, fish, salads, shrimp chips, eggs, curries and soups and occasionally a fancy chocolate or coconut sugar palm dessert.

After three tanks a day, I am ready for some good music and a Bintang (or two...) at the Blue Parrot Cafe/Bar on the property. But wait..I need to do some laps in the newly constructed salt swimming pool. How do I choose?

Room tip: Try to select Cabin 9 as it has a ceiling fan which is helpful on a steamy night.

The time with Two Fish Bunaken is one of my best travel experiences. I've met very nice people there, having fun in the bar at the beach, dancing every Saturday night... And the managers- Liz and Bredon gave us an impressive presentation about sharks.

Diving was nice. I did my course with Two Fish, which is quite tough but it turned out to be full of fun and energy! I am gonna miss the time and people there!

9 Amazing days, all is done to let you enjoy your dive ... and the dives are stunning.
The best diving service I never met.
Put your equipment, jump in the water two fish takes care of ALL the other parts of your day/dive/trip.
Marine's live is everywhere and if you like the macro's or the rare fishes (like frog fish, leaf fish and other) there is the place to go/be.
except divers there is no tourist on this island. ;-)
Nice staff always there for you, good typical local food.

Two Fish could be so much more... The dives are good, the local instructors are qualified and friendly... but the foreign management is so unfriendly, and even lied to us expecting certainly that trapped on the island with a reservation we would not escape… we should have done that anyway.
I recommend only trying other diving club or even other location because of the increasing floating plastic pollution in and on all currents.
Moreover, all tiny additional simple services are billed excessive price (in € currency!). We also read some replies from the ownership when comments were not as good as expected, the truth is not waste his time to argument point by point, but he should also reconsider his position and open his eyes and mind for a better Two Fish.

Room tip: Don't go for budget rooms, your shared toilet / bathroom will be used by the whole center.
