Gobustan Rock Art is the oldest area in Azerbaijan where can show history and civilization of Azerbaijanian. It's around 60 km far from Baku and there are some minibuses for going there from Baku.

The place is about 75KM from Baku city,and not for fun seekers and kids!This place is for people interested in the evolution of human civilisation.
This place will remains you of "Edackal caves" in wayanad,Kerala,India.

Best viewed when it is not too hot, it's a great outdoor attraction. In addition to petroglyphs, one can enjoy a view of unusually shaped rocks and desert that would remind you of the Moon.
