“Absolutely fantastic, and Allison is so helpful!”

I stayed two nights in Strathgorm B&B, on a tour around the Highlands. The first night was my girlfriend's birthday, and Allison offered to buy a cake for her, so she could blow the candles!
The rooms are prefectly clean, the breakfast is great, and the location, very near Broadford but in a more quiet area, lying besides a bay, with astonishing sunsets!

Strathgorm is well placed on Skye with beautiful views not far from the bridge and Kyle of Lochalsh which also makes it great for visiting the island.. Its very quiet; the rooms are lovely, warm, clean and we all slept like logs. Alison is a wonderful person; warm and welcoming and she makes you feel so at home. She goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. - a real wonderful Scottish welcome. Breakfast is a delight; It was by far the very best b and b we have ever stayed in and we would highly recommend it. It really made our first visit to Skye (which is out of this world) so wonderful and we will stay there again next year. The other bandb's we stayed in were okay but they did not have that extra warmth and welcome you get at Strathgorm. The VERY Best.

We were given a very warm and friendly greeting by Alison despite the lateness of the hour at which we arrived! She certainly went over and above the call of duty in every way even providing us with home made soup and filled rolls at 11p.m! The house and location were beautiful and very handy after a long journey (being quite close to the Skye Bridge.) The room we stayed in-twin ensuite, was lovely, very comfortable and absolutely immaculate. The breakfast was amazing, cooked to perfection and all attractively presented. We were made so welcome that Alison felt like a good friend. We only stayed one night, but will certainly be back to stay for longer next time!

This was the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The views were wonderful and the accommodation faultless and Alison's advice and recommendations made this a wonderful holiday.
There is also a great little restaurant within walking distance that is worth a visit called Red Skye.

Arrived on a rainy day and was greeted warmly by our hostess, Alison. Our room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. Our enormous picture window afforded a spectacular vista of the sea and the hills of Skye. After a full day of driving from Kintyre, we enjoyed a very pleasant tea up and conversation with our genial hostess who exhibited true Scottish hospitality. As a long time resident of Skye, she shared with us local history, current events as well as where to find the best local crafts and dining. Her suggestions did not disappoint. She also displayed her culinary talents the following morning offering a full Scottish breakfast for me and a wonderful vegetarian breakfast for my wife. We stayed another night after a full day of travelling around beautiful Skye (and great weather!). Another incredible breakfast and we literally rolled out of Strathgorm wishing we could extend our stay - and lose a couple of pounds!! We hope to return to this B&B in the future!
