“Wonderfully relaxing”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

We returned from a Mon-Fri stay at these lodges yesterday, we were in Bluebell 1 which was beautiful, the view from the patio and inside the hot tub was of the moutains :) Our hot tub was the most private of all the lodges as we were at the top of a slight incline, so we could see other people in their hot tubs.

The lodge itself was very clean, spacious but compact. Anne met us on our arrival and was very helpful and informative about the locality. Following her recommendation we visited an Indian restaurant on a Wednesday evening (as it was only £10 per person!), we were very full afterwards!

We would both highly recommend these lodges to couples and families alike.

recently visited this lodge for 4 nights, in summer 2012,
Anne and Paul the owners , were very friendly, kind and helpful,
Anne provided us with all the information needed from taking care of the lodge, hot tub to eating out.
We visited near by beaches and dams. for 2 days, 2 days we just rested much needed break which was an amazing experience cheery on top was...sunny weather.. we were lucky I guess..
the view from the lodge was beautiful, very picturesque...serene...
hot tub (reason we booked this lodge) was relaxing,
we had a wonderful time...recommended for people in need of relaxing break , walks and search of calm getaway.

thanks to Anne, the lodge was clean, cosy and apt for our holiday.

Well where to start - these lodges are absolutely superb , in an amazing location & the lodges themselves are second to none !
Upon arrival we were greeted by Ann & her daughter phoebe , she showed us to our lodge , explained how the hot tub worked & made it clear if we had any problems or questions just to pop down to the house and see her .
Inside the lodge was beautiful , very spacious and comfortable with all the mod cons - home from home . They are fully equipped with everything you may need - the hot tub was an absolute treat & perfect for early evening relaxation , along with the sauna which just made it even better !
Ann was very helpful in recommending places to visit , from towns to beaches and places to eat , she was a very helpful host . We would highly recommend a visit to Aberdovey beach , one of the best beaches we have ever visited in the uk !
Many thanks to Ann , Paul & phoebe for a perfect family holiday , these lodges really are a credit to you , we shall be back very soon

We stayed at this resort for a long weekend. It was perfect, the most relaxing weekend break I have had. Ann, Paul and Phoebe were very friendly and went out of their way to make your stay as nice as possible. Nothing was too much trouble.

The lodge was clean, comfortable, Set in a beautiful countryside, very quiet peaceful and tranquil. The private hot tub and sauna in our lodge made the weekend perfect. We didn't want to leave. I really want to go back and soon!

Just got back from staying at the lodge for a long weekend and the only thing I can say is disappointed......disappointed that we had to come home.

It was the most peaceful and relaxing break we have been on. In a perfect location for a lovely get away from the busy city life.

The family, Ann, Paul & little Phoebe were so lovely, warm, welcoming and extremely helpful in recommending places to visit and things to do. The lodge was clean, tidy and perfectly set.

The location is very scenic, especially from the luxurious hot tub, and the sauna was also a nice touch for added relaxation.

We most definitely cannot wait to go back here but next time we will be going for much longer, in such a beautiful part of Wales.

Wholeheartedly recommend if what you are looking for is to get away and recharge, or even just to see some place so tranquille and beautiful

My boyfriend and i booked this for a short break and stayed for 4 nights in july. What can i say? What a beautiful place, fantastic lodge and the hot tub was amazing as well!!
Ann and Paul were very helpful and offered advice on local places to eat and visit, we really felt we could approach them, ask questions and were not being an inconvience.
The lodge inside was beautiful, clean, comfortable and tidy and along with the grounds are obviously very well looked after.

We had a fantastic time and will definately be booking to come back very very soon!!

Thankyou!!

Stayed at trewythen for a week in may. It is honestly one of the nicest places I've visited in the UK. Ann and Paul are lovely and always happy to help. Ann even phoned us on the day of arrival as she was concerned that we were late! When we told her we'd taken a wrong turning and got lost she gave us directions and phoned back ten minutes later to check we were on the right road and had seen all the things she had told us to look out for! The lodges are a real credit to them. They were clean, when we arrived and they even came round each night to clean the hot tubs. The hot tub was brilliant, it was great to sit in throughout the day when we just wanted to relax. We stayed in bluebell lodge, which has its own sauna. This was brilliant but we didn't end up using it that much because we were there when the weather was so hot. Ann suggested lots of places for us to go out and eat, and even told us that there was a show on in Builth Wells on the Sunday if we were looking for something to do. The location is so peaceful and relaxing, but there is a town only a ten minute drive away with a few shops and a couple of supermarkets, so the lodges aren't too far from local amenities. They even let us have a barbecue on the gravel as it was so hot! The lodges are very central, one day we even went to Cardiff, which only took around two hours to get to if you wanted a day out in a city. Aberystwyth is about a 45 minute drive and is a pretty little seaside town which made a nice day out. If you didn't want to travel far the lodges are fine to stay in, you can relax in the hot tub all day! Ann and Paul are lovely and very friendly, and if we were outside on the verandah when she came to clean the tubs she would stand and chat with you. I would recommend this holiday to anyone, whether you are a family with children, a young or older couple or couples of girls wanting a girls break like us! We will certainly be going back and can't wait! 10 out of 10 A*!!!
