Motorbiking round Ireland and one of our last stops was " Foleys Tea Rooms " We were heading North and decided to call into this beautiful we tea room in Castlebellingham as I drove past it, it caught my eye with the thatched roof and beautifully painted on the outside.
We ordered coffee and scones which came heated with fresh cream, jam and so so tasty.
The lady was very helpful with directions round a few we back roads and then I got talking to the gentleman who seemed to own it, and that's what he was a gentleman very helpful and a great laugh, he had all us bikers laughing.
He wished us a safe journey, and we will be back in fact its on the cards already. And all for 3.95 euro.If you ever decide to travel round Ireland stay of the motorways, please go the old roads and dont miss out. My motorbike has 75.000 ml on it and most of those were done round the old roads of Ireland.

Lovely rustic tea rooms, owners are very nice and the courtyard at the back always has a surprise, rabbits etc. Food is wholesome and nutritious. Love the quiche

This is a very quaint little cafe in Castlebellingham. A little diversion off the motorway, but well worth it, especially for breakfast. The food is tasty and good value for money. The setting is quirky, low ceilings, thatch roof and a stone fire place AND there is even a room selling lovely antiques and other oddities! The staff were lovely and the owner an absolute gent. Free Wi Fi also. I would definitely visit again.
