Met up with two colleagues for lunch. The Fiveways is central to main road in Ormskirk therefore easily aces sable and has a big car park.
There is plenty of space for seating inside and it is done in such a way, that you do not feel in a large room.

We met at lunchtime so were offered the main menu and a lunchtime one, 2 courses for £7.50. We all chose the main carvery which had a choice of three meats, pie and numerous vegetables and potatoes.
The food was lovely and hot, pleasantly displayed and tasted good.

Drinks were served at the table and desert menu had a good choice and portions are huge. We could have had a starter and main but chose the dessert instead.

The staff were very good and the tables cleared butch they were not in our face.

It is an ideal place for an appetising tasty meal at a vey reasonable price.

There is also a discount card for the over 50's.

Never seen this place empty and for good reason. Comfortable and classy, Fiveways is well presented and looks more expensive than it actually is. At £5.95 for a Carvery, the food is great value and absolutely lovely. Pay £1.50 more for a larger dinner but it really is unnecessary; you'll be absolutely stuffed! Desserts are also lovely. So lovely that if we are too full, we have ours wrapped to take home with us. For the over 50's, the Diamond dining club is fab. Free to join you get dining discounts, build up points and a free birthday drink. Well worth it if.

Fiveways has a great function room, and outdoor space. It's also the perfect space to host large dinners. We know several local clubs and societies that take 15-20 people there for their annual Christmas celebrations.

A safe, reliable restaurant for any occasion.

As we were camping locally, and had been living on camp food. We felt we could do with a good meal which we found at fiveways, in pleasant surroundings. We will be back when we are next in the area.

We often go to the fiveways on a sunday for their carvery. Tonight we went at teatime and also had the carvery which was just as good as their Sunday one. Meats are sourced locally and all fresh cooked veg.
