This was the first of several B&Bs we visited over several weeks in Ireland, and Patricia set the bar for the quality of her friendliness, cooking, and cleanliness. Her B&B is very conveniently located for both Newgrange and Knouth (definitely visit the latter!) and, being in the country, is extremely quiet and green. We awoke to birdsong, and had the best traditional breakfast of our trip. If you have time to chat, and Patricia has a moment, you will be treated to the company of a generous-hearted woman of immense energy. The rooms are small--but incredibly clean. Highly recommended!

Just up the road from the Newgrange neolithic site this is a delightful B&B on a working farm. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable, separate and very nice sitting room for guests and a separate dining room. Plenty of level parking.

Good selection of breakfast options and I chose the full Irish breakfast - the best I had In Ireland - and my wife had porridge, also cooked fresh by Patricia.

Patricia is a great host, a compulsive helper of people and very knowledgable about the area. She booked us into a tour of Newgrange. Ash and Caitlin were interesting to talk to.

Newgrange and Lougher Farm are musts for any tour of Ireland.

Very pleasant B&B close to Bru N Boyne- Newgrange Neolithic ruins .
Patricia is very helpful and can arrange priority entry with a discount. Breakfast good, but less selection than at others - but also cheaper. Great large fluffy towels, best on trip!
Hard to find- this may help. Take the Bru N Boyne turn off the N2. After about 3 km there is a right turn to Duleek. Dont take this road but continue on road down a steep hill and then after another 1-2 km take the small turn on the right which actually has a sign for Lougher farm on the post . Go up steep hill and after about 1.5 km, it is on the left.

Set in a beautiful rural area a short drive north of Dublin, very close to the fabulous neolithic site of New Grange, this farm B&B was a wonderful first stop for us, just off the plane. The room was pleasant and comfortable, and on the ground floor, so it was very easy to come and go. The sitting room made available had guide books to browse and was a good place to relax. The breakfast was hands-down the best we had in all our travels, everything bright and fresh and delicious. It could not have been better. Patricia kindly called to make a reservation for our tour of New Grange, which should be on everyone's itinerary. And when you go there, you should stay at Lougher Farm!

Cute, warm, cosy and homey B&B. Very clean, nice decorated, well maintained and fully equipped. Patricia and Thomas are great couple, so kind, warm, friendly and helpful, as hosts and trip advisors. You feel like at home. Very good breakfasts. In the heart of Boyne Valley with its rich heritage and rural landscape, yet 30 min. from Dublin airport. Great choice.

This is a lovely B&B off the beaten path in a rural setting, which makes it nice for walking around before retiring for the night. Less than 2 miles from the visitor center at Newgrange. Patricia called ahead to make reservations for us which was great. She gives her guests the option of having either a full breakfast or just continental for a discount.

This is great location to visit Bru na Boinne and the other places in the Boyne Valley. Patricia was able to get us reservations at Bru na Boinne, so that is really a nice perk of staying here. It is in the countryside, so you can take an evening stroll and enjoy the birds singing, the pastures, and nature at its best (but keep in mind, it’s still a road and there are cars that speed by). The room was nice and had all the amenities that you need, with a good breakfast. Patricia gave us good advice for dinner - The Old Post Office in Slade.
