We visited the beautiful area of Lumbarda at the end of October which really is the end of the season and so all restaurants are empty. Knowing this we thought it would be easy to get a seat quick service. We chose Lina restaurant because of its great view. On entry we stood in an empty restaurant waiting to be seated. There were 3 waiters in our sight, one cleaning glasses and 2 chatting, none came to us. After a while I went to the waitress cleaning glasses and asked if they were open " yes"she replied. Shall we sit down, I enquired " yes" she repeated ..so we did!! So far, not so good..but happily the chef saved the day. As a vegetarian I often struggle abroad and always seem to end up with the Pizza option ..On the menu here we 3 or 4 veggie options, I went for the vegetable risotto which was fantastic, substantial, full of flavour and well presented. My partner had a fish option which he also thought was very good. Along with a couple of glasses of wine we paid around £30 so can not knock the value. I would have given this an excellent had it not been for the initial poor attentiveness- If its like this with no one in I would worry to visit on a busy night!
