Food very ordinary. you have to climb down a long flight of stairs to get there. The situation is Ok - I suppose thats what people go for.

Often go here for lunch with friends and I must say we have always been well looked after and the food is great. Despite it looking pricey our lunch tab including drinks has always been very reasonable. The setting is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Kesgrave Hall is right on my doorstep and should be my local haunt, but it lacks consistency and quality. And more often than not leaves me feeling disappointed.

The setting is great and the staff friendly, but when it comes to the food it is very hit and miss. It's popular because the local area has little to offer, but the food can either be over seasoned or undercooked and cold. And because of the style of service ( take your own order and give it to passing waiting staff) trying to give feedback or get a replacement dish before the rest of your party has finished is almost impossible.

The place has potential but as they always say on those TV shows taste your food before you send.

Lunch for two on a weekday was first class.
The service could not be faulted and the food was cooked to perfection
