I have a hard time grading this experience. The food was exquisite, as should be expected. However, the service was severely lacking. We were seated outside and the mosquitoes were horrific. We asked to be re-seated inside, since there were 5 empty tables in direct view. We were told we couldn’t be reseated. (The tables never filled up all night.) After asking again, we were instead given a can of bugspray and told, “it really works.” It didn’t. The can was later passed around to all of the tables outside. Even if for whatever reason they couldn’t take us inside, they clearly they knew they had a problem, since they had bugspray readily available. Try something else - bring out fans, turn down the lights, anything to deter the bugs. My husband woke up the next morning with 15 bugbites and I had 11. 5 days later they still itch.

Good food, though.

We visited Bo.Tic on the 22nd of july, the sunday after the forest-fire in the Figueres region. As friday before was fully booked, we were the only table in this restaurant that evening. Nevertheless we were received by the hostess and her team in a very friendly way. Never before was I served the napkins with the use of spoon and fork, very original. We all took the Tasting Menu, which we adored. The two waitresses were very helpfull in explaining the food and the wine despite the fact that we didn't speak Spanish very well.
The food was gourgeous and the recommended wine(s) suited the dishes. Bo.Tic will be a fixed place to visit, whenever we will be in the Bisbal region.

I just got back from an excellent dinner at this restaurant and felt the need to write a review. Despite it being an extraordinary culinary experience, the restaurant only had four tables of patrons.
What we appreciated most about dinner was that the chef was trying to do something unique with each course. Yes, we liked some of the dishes more than others. But we appreciated that nothing looked or tasted like a dish that we could order in any of a number of good restaurants. Aren't you tired of the same dishes over and over?
The restaurant offers diners as part of their meals a series of tastes before and after the main courses. These tastes are truly unique and add excitement to the meal. The service was excellent too.
Thank you very much Bo.tic!!!

One of the best of our Michelin star expeditions that exceeded our expectations on many fronts. The tasting menu is not only good value at €75, but also contains some truly exquisite dishes. The foie gras dish in the middle stood out with a real explosion of different tastes and an amazing combination of different textures of foie gras – surrounded with hints of different jams. My wife and I were with our two sons and not only did they love their meal – but the service managed to flow neatly around the different number of dishes we were all having. Everything kept arriving at a nice pace that was not too fast or too slow . The range of amuses bouches was superb and the children enjoyed them So many different tastes and a fabulous experience – it was worth the special day out we made for it.

This has become our favourite restaurant in the area, and we make a point of visiting every time we are nearby, perhaps three to four times a year.

We generally have the tasting menu, which gives us a mixture of old favourites and exciting new additions. This time there were two tasing menus, which have perhaps 75% of dishes in common and a few variations. The 'special' tasing menu has three more dishes than the 'standard'. No problem to order one of each, where most restaurants require the whole table to eat the same. Every time an additional dish arrived from the special menu, my partner was presented with a plate and cutlery for sharing, a nice touch.

The food is exquisite, with the right balance of dishes for entertainment and for nourishment. They come with just the correct frequency to keep pace with your appetite, and there is no sense of being full before the desserts. The curls of foie gras in a basket surrounded by intense fruit flavours is rightly a signature dish. Newcomers are a tuna tartare block on a bed of gelatine vegetables, and delightful mini cornets adorned with truffle.

There seems to be no end to the imagination and inventiveness in the dishes, and we would judge the overall quality to be worthy of at least two stars. Our only concern is that the restaurant may grow in popularity so that it becomes hard to get in. For the moment at least lunchtimes tend to be quiet, and the charming staff have time to remember to ask if we would like our 'usual' table.

All in all, this restaurant continues to improve and to offer a fresh balance of variety
and consitency each time we visit. Well done!
Note to Tripadvisor: this restaurant should be described as in La Bisbal, not in Corca. I believe it is the first building just outside the municipality of La Bisbal, but it is in all other respects part of La Bisbal. It is perhaps 8-10 kilometers from Corca.
