NEW

My family and I stayed at the villa in May for a week during the Romeria Festival.
I know the area well and was delighted to find Casa Blanca.
It literally was perfect! The villa was absolutely spotless, bedding and towels provided, nothing was too much trouble.
After long days lay by and swimming in the gorgeous pool we enjoyed a BBQ every night in the tranquil and beautiful garden terrace.
It’s so peaceful, we have never slept so well and we can’t wait to go back next year, already booked.

As per the title, it’s paradise!

Thank you and see you soon x

“Bliss.......”
Reviewed 2 weeks ago for a stay in June 2018

The approach to the villa was breathtaking, being situated near the top of a hill, with an amazing view. The villa was very comfortable and well equipped. It was very hot when we were there, so we took full advantage of the pool, lazing on the very comfortable sun loungers, and the gardens had plenty of colour despite the dry spell. The only interruption to our swim one day was a goat herder and his goats, which was totally unexpected, but such fun to hear and watch!

We did venture out a couple of times, once to Almogia which you can easily drive to, or as we did, an energising walk. We would also recommend going to El Palo on the coast, where we had lunch and an obligatory ice-cream!

We spent most of our evenings sitting outside admiring the view!

All in all, we had the peaceful and tranquil holiday we were hoping for and would highly recommend Casa Blanca.

Management Response
Jul 6, 2018
Dear Colin

We were very sorry to read your review that you posted after your stay at our villa.

You did make us aware of the noise from the music and we did contact the neighbour to request if they could turn the music down, which we understand they did.
Our neighbours were having some improvement works done at their villa, which involved tiling their pool area. We have good neighbours. It is a shame it coincided with your stay. If you had contacted us earlier we would have been able to address the matter sooner for you.

The gardener was booked in to come and trim and tidy the garden after your stay, mid season, ready for the ongoing season. It has been raining into late May this year, which has caused excessive growing of plants etc.

The property is in the country therefore wasps, flies etc are to be expected during the summer.

We have never had complaints of the wifi not working and have found that is has worked perfectly when we are there.

Our main photo on the website clearly shows another property further up the hill.

When you made your enquiry you asked about the peace and quiet and we advised you to read our reviews so that you could make your own judgement.

We can only apologise that your stay at our villa did not give you the very high standards that you seemed to be looking for.

Regards
James and Roz

We stayed in Casa Blanca for a wonderful week in May. Although the weather wasn't always too kind, we couldn't fail to be absolutely impressed with the property and the grounds. Our first impressions were "wow" and this continued throughout the week, a beautiful terrace, lovely large pool, many mature flowers and shrubs, complete privacy and a very highly appointed interior. Everything was just right! So much so we immediately booked again for next year.

Myself and my partner Kevin have just returned from a week in the beautiful ‘Casa Blanca’ villa just outside Almogia.
The accommodation is stunning with fantastic facilities inside making it feel like a real home from home.
It gets even better outside with gorgeous outdoor areas and an amazing private pool boasting stunning views over the countryside. It’s a great base for exploring the Costa Del Sol coastline and all its towns and villages as well as heading in land through the mountains to the amazing ‘El Torcal’ limestone formations near the lovely town o Antequera.

Almogia itself is a charming town nestled in the edge of the hills with winding streets and friendly locals. The local tapas bar was very good and excellent value.

Whether it’s a lazy time by the pool or an action packed holiday, the villa is a great base. The owner Roz and facilitator Sharon couldn’t do more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely come back.
