Palacete de Cazulas
Reviewed August 20, 2012

We have been going to Palacete de Cazulas for a week of total relaxation for the past 3 consecutive years now. We love the place so much that we go back for a week every summer. The gardens, accomodation, Peppa the cook, the bbq, swimming pool, tennis court and all other facilities are spot on. The Wi-Fi network is now 100% so even as you're in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada you can still be en-courant with the world. We will be returning next year and have already booked our week. Thanks so much for having us!

Just come back from the best wedding experiance ever, if anyone wants to make their wedding last as long as possible this is the way to do it. It means that your family and special friends can share the build up towards your big day and at the same time keep you feeling stress free.Everthing can be arranged for you with the wedding planner who ensures the food is organized through out the week if you choose, or you can cater for yourself and just have caterer's in just for the for the wedding day.
Our bride and groom had something arranged each night from a Paella night to a Hog Roast a BBQ and the wedding breakfast. also a DJ can be arranged for a disco, and one night we had some musicians, the whole set up was amazing. We had a lovley pool to lounge round all day and a bar that you can hire or fill up yourself for your guests. Its highly highly recommended.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms had a lovley view. there just a couple down stairs that were just ok, but remember...

We've just come back from a fantastic few days at Cazulas for a friend's wedding. The place was beautiful - the garden was full of flowers, the views over the valley were incredible and the weather was AMAZING!
The staff prepared breakfast lunch and dinner for us everyday. We didn't need to leave the house at all (except to check out the cold beers in the local bar). It was a truly memorable time and we're now trying to think of another excuse to go back there again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Casulaz on Easter Sunday this April, and one night just wasn't long enough! We arrived in the afternoon, which give us time to take in the amazing views from the poolside terrace and to soak up some sun. The property itself is beautiful, you really do feel like you could be a Marquis or Marquesa sweeping down the imposing staircase in the entrance hall, or having a drink or reading in the vast drawing room.

We stayed in Room 5, a clean and comfortable, elegantly furnished twin room. Also had a nose around a few of the other bedrooms, all of which were spacious and equally as elegantly furnished.

Whether you're looking for somewhere to stop off for one night mid-journey, or for somewhere to spend a few nights, Cazulas is definitely perfect! We shall definitely be returning.

We have spent the most wonderful Easter with family and friends at Cazulas. It is the most breathtaking property reached after a dramatic drive up from the local village. The views from Cazulas are stunning and the house and gardens are beautiful - obviously well loved and looked after. The weather was lovely and we found little reason to leave the property except for occasional supply runs..... Couldn't recommend it enough!

We recently rented Palacette de Cazulas for our daughter's wedding for a 3 day period. We also rented the 2 casitas (cottages) so that we would have sole occupancy..or so we thought. The casitas are NOT actually within the grounds but are immediately adjacent, they are amongst several other occupied dwellings.
we had a sleepless night on the first night, and to a lesser degree on the 2nd, as one of the cottages was full of young Spanish boys/teenagers who sat outside until gone 3am in the morning shouting the most disgusting obscenities at several of our young female guests including the bride to be. A family party amongst our guests also felt they could not leave their children to sleep in the casita with the noise and type of behaviour that was going on.
This was brought to the attention of the housekeeper the next morning whom we asked to pass on our message to the owners who reside nearby...we were disappointed that we heard nothing from them regarding this.
We brought it up with the owner, who just said that they could not be responsible( we had to call them regarding an issue with breakfast that we had paid for in advance, but could not be served early enough before half of our guests had to leave.. but were not offered a refund/alternative...very inflexible!)
Palacette de Cazulas is a beautiful property with huge charm and immense character...unlike its neighbours!

Room Tip: Think carefully about how to cater ,as although the nearest village is only 4/5 km away, the road is...
