I arrived in Tarrega after a hot 14km walk out of Cervera and the turismo gave me directions to this hotel. I had arrived the day before an international circus festival was to start, but they were able to provide me with a room without any trouble-- I have lost my notes on the price they charged and their website is a bit confusing, but it was not outrageous.
The hotel was is a bit 1970s, and was likely the latest at the time, but has been well maintained and shows no sign of wear. The room was comfortable, and the restaurant very good. It has an air of formality but I sent fell to talking with some Catalan circus organizers and we had an excellent conversation on the region.
Both my lunch and dinner were very good value and the hotel quiet-- it is set back from the street down a tree-lined lane, about 150 metres from the main road.More
