“Ignore the ‘Irish’ bit - it’s a great local bar”

Had dinner there. Sat outside. Simple ‘pub grub’. I had the chicken egg and chips. Wife had lamb chops and chips. Just what the doctor ordered!

Cracking bottle of local wine. Absolutely wonderful waitress whose English was much better than she thought it was!

It’s obviously frequented by locals and sitting outside and watching life go by is highly recommended.

We only had a drink in here but the wine was very cheap!
Very lively and full of locals. Worth a visit.

Decent pub style with regional food offerings. Reasonable in cost and selections were plenty. Good stopover pub while cruising the village.

Good location not far from the main square. Complex is a restaurant and a pub. Pub is remarkable in having draft wine but no beer. Certainly no decent irish beer. However a lot of finger food on the counter that appears fresh and delicious. It seems to jive with the locals and goes fast. probably a very good place for afternoon and early meals. Food was Ok to very good, but not equivalent to a dinner meal. Some day I'll go back when they have draft guiness or watneys.

I think that "Irish" is stated to attract tourists - it is not needed as it is a great spanish bar with good snacks. It was perfect for sitting outside with a drink in the sun with a view of the vineyards. The bar prices are good for spanish wine and beer etc. However, beware international brands. My wife fancied a change and her 70 cents glass of wine rose to €7 for a G&T.
