we had the perfect lunch! started with a delightful bottle of Cava recommended by our host, a charming lady and wife of the chef. the place has few hours of operation, owners want a life and why shouldn't they as what they create is perfection. starters were cod carpiccio, so fresh and delicate and drizzled with the most flavorful olive oil. next were calcots, in season so out timing is good, sauteed with mushrooms and foie gras (just a little) and covered in almonds. last was the best monkfish i have ever had. lightly fried (eating in spain has made me loose my fear of fried foods) and accompanied with a couple shrimp and a flavorful sauce. Finally a out of this world dessert of thick chocolate scooped to look like ice cream with bread crumbs, olive oil and salt. DESLISH! can't wait to go back!
