Had a local pub outing here and have to say thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and the staff were very accomodating friendly and although the consitions were a bit tough with wind and rain the experience was very enjoyable and well worth the money and i would encourage any golfer to go along and play there.

Catering was first class and again very much worth the money and will be orgainsing an event there again this year and would recommend that if you have not tried this course to give it a go and enjoy what we did.

will certainly be back

I played Glencorse in a visiting party of 24, we were treated like members from the offset, nothing was too much trouble! We were greeted with bacon rolls and coffee (we had an early start) and met with some members and The Captain which was nice. The round itself was (as others have said) a great challenge especially to those new to the sport. The burn and the trees were the most challenge ( a few balls were lost). The Scottish weather has not been favorable to golf courses this year and some of the greens here show signs of this but it was certainly playable and enjoyable. We have booked again in the Autumn. The pro was approachable but defensive, however we were able to hire trolleys and buggies and those who needed to bought balls and gloves but the prices were certainly not competative compared to the deal we got on our day.

Tough wee course that challenges the best player. Catering is basic (soup, bacon rolls etc.) but you'll get a friendly welcome

This course has become neglected, club house is in a state of poor repair, very disappointed with the condition of the course, nice walk but tees uneven, greens crusty and very bobbly, bunkers are poor and full of stones, great professional an asset any top course would like to have. Will be another 10 years until i would think about playing here again, major disapointment. "Hidden Gem" should be hidden alright!

Great little golf course - no wonder it is described as a hidden gem - we went on a clear day and the view from the top of the hill was lovely. Such a clean fresh course and although we were an extremely mixed ability group, everyone enjoyed - even managed a hole in one! Has a few challenges and my Iron knowledge was put to the test - a greas course - a must for anyone doing a Scottish Golf Tour
