“Superior Chinese Food”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We were staying in nearby cottage so thought we'd give it a try for takeaway one evening. The restaurant is attached to a pub so not sure what to expect. Rang through the order and ready to collect in 20 minutes. You don't have to go through the bar to get to the restaurant as entrance takes you direct and it was ready for us as promised. Food is fresh tasting without the tang of MSG or too much oil. Reasonably priced for out of town area and quality and portion size is good. Definitely recommend.

“Phenomenal”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

I went for my birthday, incredibly friendly staff and excellent food. We were the only ones in, and had a lot of attention and care. Fab vegetarian options, and the chef even prepared me a birthday surprise of deep fried pineapple with ice cream and a candle to share with the 5 other members of my family. Highly recommend this, and can see it is popular with locals as many takeaways were collected.

“We will be back!”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

The service is polite and discreet, the food is delicious and whilst the setting is a bit odd, it is really friendly. If you want high class furnishings and trappings, this isn't the place for you. However, if you want excellent food, cooked to order and with each dish tasting fresh and full of flavour, Hin's is well worth a visit. It's very reasonable to boot.
We've been looking for a decent Chinese restaurant for some time - and here it is!

“An Odd Place”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

Good pub with decent real ale. Clientele very local and cliquey; Silence when a starnger walks in, and the landlord could have been friendlier. The Chinese restaurant is attached to the pub, which I've never encountered before. Standard Chinese with the addition of a few dishes made with quorn for vegetarians, which was welcome to us. All in all, the impression I was left with is that tourists are welcome in the Chinese restaurant, but they'd rather the pub was locals only.
